Don't get me wrong I'm loving what I am hearing about this dlc especially the artifacts. I am however worried that Activision will force bungie to have them as a micro transaction.

The silver has been out long enough for them to pull a major dick move with it by now. Hopefully that trend continues. It would be good if there is a way to farm the skeleton keys like the treasure key hype before prison of elders was open.

They also said that they would not add the character packs but they did. I want to believe that they won't do it but bungievisions track record has got me fearing the worst

I do believe that bungie intended/wanted to add these items in to the game, too bad Activision has them on a tight leash
