I've been on the fence for a while with Rise of Iron, but this post turned it up to 11. If it's all official, I think I'll fork over the $30.

So I hate to jump to any conclusions, but I made a VERY similar exotic Khvostov concept way back when... Here's the verbatim post from last year: [spoiler]Exotic Multirole Primary Kvhostov Legacy "An archaic weapon, re-tooled for the modern battlefield" Exotic Perk: Modular Assembly- weapon can fit one of four attachments to drastically alter its role. -Suppressor: While weapon is equipped, Guardian radar signature is decreased -Selectable Fire: Pressing reload while magazine is full switches weapon between pulse and automatic fire. Damage scales accordingly. -Marksman Mod: Equips medium-zoom scope, magazine size reduced, weapon changed to low-ROF scout rifle archetype. -Launcher: Attaches underbarrel grenade launcher. Grenade recharge is slightly improved, and grenades are fired via the launcher, improving accuracy and range. First Tree: Aggressive Ballistics, CQB Ballistics, Field Choke Middle Tree: Snapshot, Lightweight, Fitted Stock Last Tree: Feeding Frenzy Visually this is almost identical to the standard Kvhostov. Something that could be implemented on this gun would be selectable weapon skins, altering its camouflage. Depending on feedback, the standard sight (used for Select Fire and Launcher modes) would be either the cracked original, or an improved original sight. Suppressor adds a suppressor and switches the weapon to iron sights. Select Fire adds a fire mode tab on the receiver, and equips a foregrip. Marksman Mod adds a barrel extension and an ACOG-type scope, with a slightly different stock and visually shorter magazine. Launcher, as one would imagine, adds a grenade launcher. The weapon at its base follows the high rate of fire auto rifle archetype. Its standard form is Select Fire. [/spoiler]

The only thing I'm peeved about it the raid class items. But the fact that they aren't coming back right now leads me to believe they might be working on revamping old raids for the future at some point. Time will tell I guess.

With the lack of story missions I hope that they make up for it in quests Also hope that exotics have quests again like Y1 I can't wait the hype finally got to me

They probably won't bring back elemental primary weapons, they also probably won't bring back weapon reforging, so the weapons that release with RoI are pretty much going to be the exact same as what we got now?

!giveaway [b][u]Far-fetched theory time:[/u][/b] You know how all the new Iron Lord Artifacts feature each of the fallen Lords, and each Lord has a statue erected in their memory in the Iron Temple? Where is Efrideet, and what happened to her? [b]Theory #1:[/b] Efrideet is still alive, and out there in the Plaguelands somewhere, akin to how Eris Morn was trapped in the Hive fortress in the Ocean of Storms. After completing a Campaign mission or three, we find her back at Felwinter Peak discussing something with Saladin. [b]Theory #2:[/b] Tyra Karn is Efrideet, and she honours her fallen comrades by issuing these Artifacts to the Guardian - the first of a new generation of Iron Lords. Does she feel guilt at having abandoned her companions during their time of need, and thus no longer worthy of carrying her name? [b]Theory #3[/b]: Efrideet is the "Hive Mind" behind the SIVA outbreak, possessing the Fallen House of Devils Splicer teams through SIVA augmentations. As to how she became that, she ventured into the SIVA Vault to try and destroy the Fallen and prevent Twilight Gap from even occurring. In doing so, she became corrupted, leading the fallen Iron Lords to sacrifice themselves in order to seal the Vault and prevent Efrideet from destroying Earth. Because she isn't dead, she doesn't have a statue and thus there isn't any need for an Artifact in her Memory.

You had me sold with the line: "- Same 1:1 infusion system, so all Year 2 infusible gear can be infused to Year 3 values" So happy right now, and really motivated to get some god rolls too.
