Single Person creates a game...and it is glorious! (Lost Soul Aside)

3 RepliesOne-man indi games aren't anything new to the table but that doesn't detract one bit from it's quality. Think back to 2012's [i]Dust: An Elysian Tail[/i], the game was entirely done by one person aside from the soundtrack. All art, all coding, play testing, the whole shabang.

2 RepliesI've been reading up on this game since watching the trailer yesterday so i figured I'll drop some facts right here. This game is heavily inspired by the newest final fantasy so that's why it looks similar. Yang Bing, the creator, is currently using some assets that aren't officially his so he's not planning on releasing it anytime soon. And that's if he releases it. It's all just a fan project for him so it's not 100% if he's releasing it. He also said that if he's going to release it, he'll have to fix everything so that all the games assets are his, which he said would probably require more than just himself to do. If he does release the game, it's currently only planned for pc. He did say that if there's enough internet for consoles then he'd be willing to look into it. A friend just linked the video on Facebook, Jesus that looks great. Sad that it said he did it for fun and has no desire to release it. Hopefully that changes.
