So most of you obviously don't have enough to buy a newer vehicle let alone able to drive. Anyway I've been looking to upgrade to a 250 and I'm having trouble on deciding between gas or diesel. Give me your thoughts

Having a truck = required to help people move
i would go with a convertible
Depends dude. I saw your reply below that it won't be a need for hauling or anything, so it's what you can afford and personally want.
-
Why an F250? Are you hauling/pulling anything of weight? Are you traveling any particular distances?
-
I voted the 6.7 But i like projects and a diesel truck is a never ending project. 5.9 cummins guy btw. Oh and if you do go the 6.7 route, delete the epa garbage and ruin a liberal's day.

I see your problem. I have a solution. Your problem?
Ford
Your solution?
Chevrolet
Are you hauling or towing?

Edited by The Cellar Door: 8/2/2016 7:29:26 PMIf you aren't towing, go with the 6.2. No reason to have like 800 lb-ft of torque if you aren't using it, especially when the 400 something lb-ft on the 6.2 will get you where you need to be anyways. The horsepower on either model isn't to far off from each other, so it's not like you're sacrificing that much of the punch by going with the 6.2. If it's a highway driver, which I'm sure it is if you're getting it for work, you'll be thanking yourself with it in the long run. Overall, it's your decision, but if you have the money, and if you plan on running truck in the hundred thousands while doing a lot of pulling, go with the 6.7. If it's just your daily driver that you aren't pulling all the time with, which you plan to replace in a few years, be practical and get the 6.2. If you don't mind me asking, what year? And are you financing or leasing?

Avoid the 6.0. I've heard good things about the newer ford diesels tho
-
Don't buy a Ford diesel. I'll leave it at that
-
Better mileage with diesel, but it cost more and smells.
-
Its according to what you need... Diesel is cheaper but petrol have more speed/strength
-
Well how long do you think you'll have it and what are you using it for?

Diesel
