I realized why this quest is so difficult. Say you end a match with a 1.24KD. As it's 2% for a kill and -1% per death, you're scoring a net positive of say 1% or so. But it's a loss (-2%), so you're actually losing points on the quest. If it was just a positive KD for so many games or just wins, this quest wouldn't have so many complaints. But for those of us who don't regularly post 3+ KDs and constant wins with it, it's beyond frustrating. And I earned several Thorns year 1 on my hunter, I can deal with frustrating. This is worse.

Edited by Tryvak: 8/1/2016 5:02:55 PMI have recently completed Shindig by doing the following: 1: Play game modes that are 6v6 and stick with the largest group of players you can. When they retreat, retreat. When they shoot, shoot. After spawn, make a bee line to the group. If the group you are with is not very good leave. I mainly played Clash, but control does work too. That is why I mainly played clash because grouping together maximizes chance to win the match and close up shooting happens more often, which is good for the TLW. 2: I used second and heavy that would help maximize kills, sidearm and machine gun. I would sometimes switch to fusion rifle, but since the TLW is close range I mainly used sidearm and did pretty good with it once I got use to it. I'm not very good with shotguns in crucible, except for maybe the Lord of Wolves ;) 3: Anything that helps you be invisible helps to stay off radar. This helped many times to get surprise attack kills. 4: In fire fight pay attention to your health bar and RETREAT when you need to. 5: Watch for when super is ready and use right away. 6: Don't worry about whether or not your team is winning the match. It does not matter until this step is done. Although sticking with the group we were able to win many matches. By sticking to the above I went from taking weeks to finish the shindig to getting it done in just 6 - 8 hours of playing crucible. I also went from being constantly frustrated to having fun doing this step.
