The light pierced the darkness of the daemon, and a legionary followed up with a flurry of blows.

[i]Rebecca shot out more beams of light at the daemons. She was getting drained from this.[/i]

The last of the daemons fell due to the light it reformed to a large daemon, but it showed signs of weakening. Quintus took advantage of that to charge it.

[spoiler]Let's try that again...[/spoiler] [i]Rebecca just stood there, exhausted. Xavier fired all his bullets into the daemon.[/i]

A rain of bullets and blows came down on the creature and drove it back. It roared ferociously as it did so.
