I feel like the whole reason they're splitting the progress was because they were giving us back the old raids but only for last gen.
I get that current-gen players might be mad about it, but fvck them. They get to buy the new expansion, and they've been acting like roided-out chimps since it was announced. Any sympathy I had for those early-adopting asshats was gone the second time someone made an; "I'm upset star wars episode seven wasn't on vhs" snark.

Not at all, I've had a ps4 for 2 years now and I've got at least 20 games, and most of those weren't bought in the past year. I don't know where you get your info from, but it's very wrong.

I'm guessing either they're indie titles that piqued your interest, or they're not that good, and you bought them in a sale. I, however, have an xbox 360 library of over 90 games, plus disk games, and that's just what fits on my 500gb hard-drive. About a third of those are forwards and backwards-compatible, some favorites, but not all the good ones. Among the ones that aren't there; -Tales of Vesperia -Sonic adventure 2 -Scott Pilgrim Vs the world -Resident Evil 4 -Mark of the Ninja -Limbo -Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet -IL-2 Birds of Prey -Dust: an elysian tail And dead space 2. Maybe there have been "definitive" edition re-releases of those games, but I don't much care to buy the same game twice, especially if i can't trade them in from my hard-drive, and I have to start all over.

As I mentioned with the infusion idea... I doubt Bungie is going to bring anything forward. The reason I think this, is because of the fact that old-gen is 10% of the playerbase. That would leave 85-90% of the playerbase pissed because Bungie didn't move the raids up to yr2 levels. The same thing with weapons being moved up to yr2 level for old-gen. That would be a really bad choice on Bungie's part.

Yeah, but to bring back old raids, they just have to change a few values in the database to make old raid gear have the same perk-trees as y2 gear. It'd take them a day, tops.

I think you missed my point. Most people wanted this done in yr2. It never happened. Doing this now, and for old gen, would completely enrage most of the players to the point of quitting. I personally don't care what they do. If I don't like the game, then I won't play it.

Why would they quit destiny if all they wanted was the old raids? Did everyone throw their xbox 360s and ps3s under speeding cars when the current-gen was announced?

I sold mine to get my PS4. A lot of people don't have an old gen. The main point is that people have been asking for this since TTK dropped. Doing this now would be a really bad idea on Bungie's part.

I'd be really interested to see the venn diagrams of people interested in y1 content on current-gen, on last-gen, and when they got into destiny. Without the data, I still think it would be nice of them to consider us but changing some numbers in their data base. You shouldn't worry about how other people are playing the game anyway.

Oh, I'm not worried. I'm just stating my opinion. In my opinion, it would be a bad move for Bungie. But, Bungie does what Bungie wants.

Lol why would need your sympathy? Keep in mind the timeline for ditching last gen hasn't changed. Instead of Destiny 2 which would have been current gen only we're getting RoI to fill in until the next game.

Which is why it's a low-blow. Making destiny 2 current-gen only? Fine, have fun. Making DLC current-gen only and shutting us off of iron banner and trials when there's no cross-platform play? Get off the glass dick, Bungie. You do need our sympathy. The next-gen library is just barely starting to get good, and developers still haven't tapped into all the console's power yet. Some people tell me that killzone: shadows fall (sounds like an album from a metal band) comes close, but I'm sorry for you guys. You rushed out to overpay for the shiniest new lump of plastic before they had any decent games on it, and you're trying to make us seem irrational for staying on consoles we have hundreds of dollars-worth of non-forwards compatible games on.

There are plenty of great current gen only games and I don't regret getting it at launch in the slightest. I personally don't really care what you do, but per Bungie RoI won't work on last gen anyway. Besides, I still both my 360s if I ever get that itch again. Which I haven't so far.

You have to admit, it's scummy. It's not like current-gen players are getting a new game because they threw last-gen under the bus. You're just getting more of the same because bungie's already moved on to destiny 2.

Meh. They're keeping the servers open. Nobody on last gen should have expected live team support past September due to Destiny 2 coming out. I don't understand why this is a surprise. To keep the 10% of last gen current they would have to make sacrifices for the 90% on current gen.

You can still play mw3, another activision game, and halo 3, a bungie game online. Why would they shut off servers two-years in? Nobody's that malfeasant...

Yeah, that part is messed up. Amazon leaked a Destiny complete experience thing for $50 a little bit ago though so hopefully that has all the DLC.

We should be united in our fight not to get price-gouged by these west-coast slackers. They need to stop giving to charity and invest in more coders and devs. This company has more artists than sense.
