I look at "getting my money's worth" as being more than satisfied with a product and how well it does what it's supposed to do. Destiny has been just barely satisfactory about 50% of the time.
Think of it like this. Let's say Minecraft (love the game, as simple as it is) is a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, and Destiny is a used, 1997 Hyundai Sonata. The Porsche is giving me my money's worth because it does what I want it to, and it does it with near-flawless performance-- along with some extra stuff that I didn't expect. The Hyundai doesn't give me my money's worth because it performs the bare minimum with less-than-flawless performance.
