Silly, we're not getting the door slammed on us, we're getting herded onto an iceberg and cast adrift in an endless ocean. And some day in August is when they take their little metaphorical computerized E-pickaxes and cut us loose. So the proper question be "how about a pickax to the foot"?

That's good but there's no cliché for it.

How about i used to play xbox360 till i took a pickaxe to the foot?

More painful, though. And being frozen out of a community I've been an active part of for 18 months and nearly 1600 game-hours is going to be more like getting impaled than a mere doorknob bruise.

Really dude.... May I ask why you haven't been able to upgrade and feel the need to make this long metaphorical post on how getting cut loose on a 10 year old console and how it is similar to being impaled?
-
I have money and could upgrade any time I want. But I can't justify that kind of expense to play one expansion. I have money because I don't waste money. Paying $30 for Rise of Iron is reasonable. Paying $300+ to play Rise of Iron is not.
