Or.. buy a -blam!-ing current Gen console..
It's almost 2017.. if you don't have 300$ for a new gaming system, then you're probably failing at life.

What if you get payed minimum wage? Huh?
-
Then you're failing at life..
-
Then you should be looking for better job opportunities as a minimum wage job and welfare is barely enough to live on...
-
You're a trust fund baby, aren't you?
-
I too had my parents buy me a next gen console. But sadly now I am a proud adult (18 years) and have a shitty retail job (where I get subpar hours for a pay much higher than what I deserve) along with a parent whom is in a bad financial situation (leading to me have to pay my weight here and there) I can see how someone wouldn't have the money lying around to pay for both the console, game, dlc, and ps plus/ Xbox live monthly. Even then, the post creator would be leaving a guild behind, and walking in with out a fireteam they know.
-
Exactly. lol
-
Op is probably 15 and has never had a job...

Is it really that hard to understand how someone just can't afford something right off the bat like that? I feel ashamed to call you a fellow human being if you have no sympathy for those stuck in their situation.

Edited by Mr. Moon: 7/30/2016 12:02:28 AMNo, there is nothing hard to understand about that at alll. I mean they current gen console were $400/$500 when they came out "right off the bat." Except these consoles are so far off the bat now that anyone with a legacy console complaining about being left behind have no excuse to not have one. What have you legacy console players actually been playing these past three years? The same games you had pre-2013/14? Doubt it. You have been picking up new games and putting down money on them, season passes, and microtransactions. Add all that together and you have more than enough money to get a current gen console at the price they are at today. So don't bitch, moan, and complain about how poor you are or how you think being left behind isnt fair. You have no right.
-
I'd rather not take the time to copy and paste my previous bitchfest from the same argument that everyone has used. You're not worth the effort.
-
If people really cared to, they could save up $300 for a Next Gen console in 2 years. OP obviously had other ideas about what he wanted to spend his money on, which is fine. But then he can't complain that he wasn't able to save up enough money for a console when he wants to spend it on other stuff.
-
I mean, his complaints aren't that unreasonable. He just wants to be able to continue obtaining old gear from activities he's been able to participate in up until now. Just so he has an incentive to continue playing. He never said he was mad at Bungie because they refuse to send him a current gen console. Idk

Edited by Radiicola: 7/30/2016 2:25:40 AMHe wants only LEGACY console player to have the right to infusion on Year 1 weapons (yeah, like we don't all want that). He wants only legacy consoles to be able to get Year 2 AND Year 1 weapons from ToO and IB (I really want a Messenger and Skorris Revenge, I'm sure others would like their own certain gear as well from Year 1). And he wants each Crucible package to give out 1 crucible gear, 1 IB gear, and 1 ToO gear (in case his first idea wouldn't work). I'd say these are pretty unreasonable, mostly because these only affect Last Gen Console players and nearly everyone would like these.
-
The consoles came out years ago and are now as low as 250$. Working minimum wage can easily grab one of these unless you've already accumulated massive debt. Which, isn't anyone else's fault a lot of the time.
-
I feel sympathy, however the people that come on here to tell Bungie that they should make everything on both consoles are unrealistic. You can't expect the game to improve and still be available to last gen. The hardware isn't even stable now, let alone adding more on top of a 10 year old system.
-
I didn't ask for everything. Just the stuff we already have. lol
-
I wasn't talking about your post. In fact, you raise some valid points. I was mostly talking of people that feel entitled to everything that Destiny will offer, even though they haven't purchased it.
-
Oh ok. No worries.

Not everyone's parents can buy there children a new console, not everyone is spoilt unlike you.

Your status says it all.

You dont know peoples personal life. Maybe they are children and their parents wont buy them a console. Did you ever think about that? Prabably not
