Exactly. I don't see how it's that hard to understand why all this would be a problem. So people who decided to not support the product they use to, can gained thing people been asking for the last year already and people who continue to support it just get the new content only. Yeah, that won't happen.
Maybe at most legacy will get is an emblem and/or shader.
Also, the rewards to old gen is having Destiny to play for the last almost 2 years. Leaving old gen behind isn't loosing much player base anyways, seeing there is MAYBE 10% still on legacy consoles.
Also, it's not that hard to make the switch. Current consoles have been out almost 3 years now. If playing games is a hobby and like to do it a lot, make it a better experience then. Anyways, trying to play Destiny on Legacy systems is a terrible experience anyways. Gthe game feels awful to play and the loading and game experience alone would make me want to switch if I wasn't on current consoles.
I started out on ps4 and currently have it still, but u decided to give ps3 destiny a try, I spent about 3 laggy minutes in the tower getting bounties and then what felt like 5 minutes of torture trying to patrol on earth.
Then recent I made the decision to join xbox one because a few personal friends play on there along with me still playing on ps4 as well.
Telling you, making the choice to play on either system is what you want to do.
