The purpose of this post is understandable, completely...
But why treat this as a goodbye? It almost sounds like you have no intention of ever updating your system. Ever. If that is the case, then you understand the choice you are making, and have no reason to ask for much...
To be honest, I see Bungie doing something like giving legacy players who are still highly active a special shader and emblem, so they are marked as players who still continue. They are encouraging as many people to upgrade as they can.
Looking back at the News Feed, and reading the Upgrade Support section, those players are already missing out on the content updates when the changes occur.
To add to that, if a player has to repurchase something of Destiny, when doing an upgrade, they should be able to get some kind of discount to it. But notice how there is a sale for TTK on the PSN and Live.
The best thing to compare this to, is when TTK first came out. Game modes were still available, but didn't look up to date. That will probably be the same thing for the legacy consoles. So all in all, that is going to be the best that can be done. Given the system restrictions, and workings, only so much could be done...
It makes sense, what Bungie is trying to do, and your request as well...but I don't think that is doable...

Edited by Dark Rigel: 7/29/2016 4:53:58 PMYeah. But I'm not asking for anything NEW. I just want to keep playing what I've already paid for. namely Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris. Which they are taking away from us legacy players. And really my idea wasn't for Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris exactly. Just a couple of new crucible playlist so we can still get the current gear we've ALREADY PAID for access too. Why take that stuff away permanently if we've already paid for it? I don't think it's unreasonable. lol. And I will upgrade, one day. Probably quite a ways down the road though. lol

If the legacy consoles can withstand a perminent playlist be shoved in it's memory...vs a random week or every weekend. I can't see why not... But that can also become tricky...eh, you never know until you ask.
