The few remaining guards around the slaves frantically look around to see where the shots came from as the legionnaires start to win the battle. Numbers were wearing down on the eldar.

-
She summoned another gunblade and continued to fire on the executors, careful not to hit the slaves. Hopefully the Eldars won't send out their last resort.
-
The executioners fell dead and the slaves picked up the weapons they dropped. Some charged to help the fight. Determined to be free, others hid.
-
Rebecca took the time to inspect the armour and weapons the executioners had.
-
Typical dark eldar weapons and armor, nothing she couldn't easily find a better substitute for back in general quarters.
-
She dropped them and continued to scout the enemy.
-
Their last units were fighting now, ad hoc groups began to throw themselves forward and back towards their enemies.
-
R: "Claudius, Uhhh... Do you guys take prisoners?"
-
"Not in this instance no, they would corrupt any others we have and the guards."
-
R: "Alright." Rebecca sat and watched her own team win.
-
As the eldar grew desperate thy turned to summoning a daemon, trying to take as many with them as possible.
-
Rebecca, taking note of this, flew over to the summoning site.
-
The rite was almost complete and the sacrifices were enough to fuel it.
-
She attempts to stop the ritual by shooting at the summoners.
-
Her bullets hit too late, as she soon observers the portal opening. A loud roar is heard as it climbs its way out of the flaming portal and swipes the area around the portal with its fist.
-
That's EXACTLY what I wanted to happen.
"Ah hell... And I thought I wouldn't use up all my energy..." Rebecca summoned her scythe, and darted down to the daemon.
-
It tried to much to swat her out of the air with a roar. It's blood was a black Ichor, behind it a smaller and faster daemon also came through. This one headed straight for Quintus and Xavier.
-
R: "Goddammit." Rebecca tried to find a way to close the portal while dodging punches.
-
Edited by General Percival: 7/30/2016 4:20:36 PMThe portal shut on its own after the two left it. But the damage was done and now the two daemons took the field attacking everyone.
-
Edited by Tamedfrog: 7/30/2016 4:15:39 PM
Woah, check your language.
While Xavier dealt with the smaller daemon, Rebecca continued to slash and evade the bigger one. She even cut though it's whole arm in one swoop.
-
Quintus and his men rushed the smaller one as well, the eldar were dwindling now. They'd never fought a daemon. And the first swipe knocked two into the wall.
-
R: "Is that all you got?" Rebecca easily slices the daemon. Couldn't be more easier. Meanwhile, Xavier throws a time-stop on the smaller daemon, letting the others attack it with all they've got.
-
The large daemon let loose a cloud of dark gas that healed itself and the smaller daemon. Which broke free of the spell. The eldar were all dead now and the armies turned their attention to the daemons. Or at least those who were unwilling to leave Quintus behind. In the confusion, Claudius had ordered the legionnaires and Auxlilia to retreat.
-
R: "You gotta be kidding... Well, at least it cannot hit me, right?" Rebecca continued to slice at the daemon. Meanwhile, Xavier emitted purple beams of energy, hitting the daemon.
-
The daemon she was fighting split into multiple smaller ones and began to attack multiple targets. They were however susceptible to damage.
-
R: "Dammit, dammit, dammit!" She landed on the ground as started to emit a beam of concentrated light energy on a daemon.
