For the love of the Giant Spaghetti Monster, please learn how to counter something before you put a nerf post up. For every weapon or ability, there are at least three counters, so really think about it.
See a Shoulder Charging Striker- Run away, jump around, or shoot at them
A Defender killed you when you went in his bubble- Don't go in the bubble again for pasta's sake! Use your own super, or just stay as far away from the bubble as possible. It can't follow you like a Truth Rocket can.
Oh No, Last Word- Stay out of Close Quarters, dodge their shots with evasive movements like strafing because they only have 8 m8, and even using vertical space on that vegetable.
Sniper Rifle (Aw man)- Don't put your head straight into that sniper lane, try to make yourself as hard to shoot as possible by again using vertical space and jumping around, and go to places that the hardscoping camper won't expect.
These are just a few examples of how to counter things and I would expect everyone to think really hard of at least three counters for every weapon/ability that you feel is overpowered, and if you genuinely can't, then post it here and I will find them.
Stop complaining and start countering.

You cannot counter sniper correctly because the current flinch implementation is broken. It is currently too easy to predict when it's going to recenter. Flinch movement needs to be randomized and not re-center. This would mean that actual thumb skill (Something Bungie talk about wanting to promote) is needed to reacquire your target instead of timing a broken mechanic. Other than that I agree about learning to counter.

Ok, so apparently everything can be countered and thus nothing is overpowered. Well then I would like to see a group of "skilled" players go flawless with just mid fire autos and sidearms. So for all the people who say that we have good balance right now and everything can be countered, I suggest we tell them that they cannot consider themselves a "skilled player or team" unless they can go flawless with these two weapons. I think that is fair because if you are skilled, as many claim to be on these forums" then you can counter any weapon, so this shouldn't be much of a challenge. Remember to stay out of those sniper lanes!

You act like people can do five things at once. You do know people with snipers, and last words, and shoulder charges, or shotguns are everywhere in a crucible match right? So you expect one person to do these things all at once- 1) Jumping around like a maniac to get away from shoulder charges 2) Go try and shoot against people who have the last word (you do know that the last word does only 2 less damage to the head than a Hawkmoon right?) 3) Stay out of aim from three snipers with 1000 Yard Stares 4) Stay away from shotgunners You know I only have so many buttons on my controller right? Face it: so things need nerfs. And your just going to have to deal with it

Thank you for the suggestions, Captain Obvious. All these problems exist in the game because Bungie refuses to fix the root problem that they all share: Primary weapons take too long to kill, and are no match for the game's special weapons and special abilities. Which is why one the first things you'll see when a Striker gets flanked, is that he'll start running in a circle to charge up his Shoulder Charge....and why some do nothing but spam that attack for the entire match. They don't evne bother to look for gunfights. The Last Word only became a problem when Bungie started nerfing ARs and raising the primary weapon TTK in general. ..and your sniper advice is of no use against the drag-scoper that can take 3 scout rifles shots off his head, before killing you with a precision shot because the high aim-assist and low flinch makes doing so easy. Nevermind the Quickscoper who uses it to QS you from shotgun range. PVP in this game right now is POORLY balanced. Primaries are balanced with respect to one another....but are ridiculously underpowered compared to everything else.

Last year sniper players got shotguns nerfed and now you say counter it? No one defend sunsingers but yet you say counter shoulder charge? They're going to nerfed. Deal with it.

I don't understand what's going on with Titans. I mean, yea, they are a strong subclass, but they don't need a nerf. I don't even run jug or shoulder charge, feels to predictable, I just run unstoppable with that in helmet that grants death from above and headstrong. Honestly it's ok, Titan skatings only advantage is outrunning supers, and being able to move really fast in a straight line, and lighting grenades are good, but the only grenade, Meh. It's not the Titan killing you, if it wasn't him it would be something else stop complaining. Put in some time into a character before whining, then you'll realise it's not as op as you think.

Well written and I agree. I personally have never thought that certain weapons are OP. Certain players are just better than me and if I want to be competitive or better than I have to play smarter.

Striker w/ SC is my favorite thing to run because people are clueless when it comes to defending it, or refuse to run anything but sniper or shotty. Don't want to get shoulder charged? Try a fusion or side arm. Basically made to slow down strikers.

That's not countering it most maps have sniper lanes some maps are just sniper lanes there is no way how to get round a sniper who has found himself a good bottle neck in this game if sniper weren't 3 seconds and your dead some of us would not have a problem cuase we actually try to flank but no it's 3 sec to get into the scope and just like a light switch to switch off a light your dead I hate when they move left and right jump up and down and still get a head shot. I hate when I surprise them in the close to mid range and they still kill me put snipers where they belong in the long to super long range and when I'll be fine.

Tbh SC is not very hard to counter. It is juggernut that's kinda annoying to counter, doesnt leave u with many options as to was to do. A shotgun wielding, juggernut shielded, skating titan, with twilight garrison is the most scariest sight in destiny right now. Not that they should nerf it at all. It is just good.
