.... LOL
A man walks to the center of the courtyard, approaching the sword in the stone. He pulls with all his might, attempting to free the sword from the stone, but to no avail. He sighs, exasperated.
"Well, it was worth a try, huh?"
"Almost there, John."
I'm a guy, I'm allowed to make those jokes XD
*Cyan walks up* You did well man.
-
The man looks around, then looks down. "Hey kid, what're you doing here? Where are your parents? You're not going to try to pull out the sword, are you?" He laughs heartily.
-
*Cyan shrugs* Worth a shot, haven't seen any of you succeed. *Cyan walks over to the blade*
-
The onlookers laugh, and point at Cyarthur. Many sound skeptical, but stay to watch nonetheless.
-
*Cyan grabs the hilt and pulls upward with nothing to lose*
-
The sword comes out of the stone easily. The spectators are shocked into silence, wondering how a 12 year old could have pulled out a sword men in their primes couldn't. Soon, however, they begin chanting. "King Arthur! King Arthur! King Arthur!"
-
*Cyan is a bit surprised as well, then holds the blade in the air in pride*
-
Time seems to skip ahead, and Cyan is sitting at Arthur's desk, staring at Excalibur. Wondering what she should do. A knock comes from the door, and a woman walks in, most likely Arthur's mother. "Artie? What are you doing?"
-
Oh, um... Not sure really... Lost in thought probably? *She chuckles a little* PLEASE don't let this be like last time.
-
"Well, I hired a professional to train you in swordplay. After all, a king should be able to fight."
-
Yeah, don't want the blade collecting dust. *Cyan stands up, still not quite used to balls, and picks up Excalibur* Lead the way
-
"He is downstairs, waiting for you." Cyan walks downstairs, to find a man in a black tuxedo, black sunglasses, and black hair. "Ah, you must be Arthur! I am Guldan." He extends a hand.
-
*Cyan shakes it firmly* Pleasure. I suppose you heard... Bah, you have. Should we start?
-
He laughs, and nods. He leads you to a courtyard, and draws a sword.
-
*Cyan draws Excalibur* Who goes first?
-
"The trainee may start." Guldan smiles, bowing, and standing in a defensive stance.
-
Ah, okay... *Cyan circles the man, then lunges at his leg but quickly stabs at his shoulder before he can react*
-
Guldan turns amazingly quickly, and blocks Excalibur with his sword. "Ah, Arthur. You seem to have a talent...." Time seems to speed up, and Cyarthur is 17, the day before Arthur's birthday. He/she is talking to Guldan. "I've trained you well, these 6 years, Arthur."
-
Yes, you have and I thank you for that.
-
He laughs. "Tomorrow, you become a man, Arthur. And with that, you gain the full responsibility as King upon your shoulders. Are you ready?"
-
Yes. I am ready to be king. I have some big plans
-
"I'm sure you do...." Time skips forward again, and it is Arthur's first day as king. Many had come to the castle, to greet him, and Arthur spoke to every one of them. By the end of the day, he was sweating. But before he could get any rest, a man runs into the castle. "P-please, my king! My wife is about to be hung... she is innocent! She did not kill the child! Please...."
-
Woah, woah. What's going on. Slow down. Breathe, breathe. Tell me all of it.
-
"Th-they are accusing m-my wife of m-murdering our b-baby...." Tears begin rolling down the man's face. Outside the castle, a woman is about to be hung.
-
Well let's go outside and make sense of this. *Cyan makes her way out of the castle*
