So can someone fill me in, does Elemental Damage really have an effect in PvP? Thought that was a myth?

No effect. Elemental damage is only good for PvE.

That's what I thought. So whats the go with people saying it would make it OP in Crucible. I spend time in PvE so yeah

PvP players just aren't very smart, they don't ever get around to PvE so they never figured out how elements work and (don't work in crucible)

Yeah, apparently. From the looks of this they [i]think[/i] they know how Elemental Damage works. Most certainly do not. They need to get out more.

Perhaps they are confusing it with Damage-over-Time.

That would explain it. Especially the Thorn similarity complaints
