No, the problem with this is it's a warlock exclusive weapon. With the introduction of swords that can take more damage from a certain element, making too many elemental primaries would put primaries at an even bigger disadvantage during heavy rounds. I myself love killing all 4 guys that pick up heavy before they ever get to use it, wouldn't be very fun or fair if the guy running at you used an arc sword shield against a solar or void primary.

You say that like we don't have three weapons to choose from and our subclass abilities to fight elemental shields from swords. Swords are seriously not the hugest threat in the world. Pull out a shotgun and wait for them to put the shield down. Run away. Chunk grenades. Kill them before they grab heavy. Or just die one time and be prepared for the next round with a team of Guardians. Not insurmountable, and totally worth it if it allows us to have more power and more options overall.

No one should be pigeonholed with what they use just to accommodate fighting one weapon. Try again.
