tell me your expectations for this patch..
somebody got some information what could be inside?
I expect just a few changes but would be down for a some tweaks on firebolts, scatternades, fusion nades and axion bolts..
buff the tripmines back, buff hunter solar granades, take away the cooldown on twilight garrison ect
edit thank you guys for this friendly thread! the destiny community seem to be in a rehab in these times of sufferation during the long content drought

Fusion grenades r fine because in any really competitive play they r unreliable , axion bolts r fine tbh compared to grenades such as lightning grenades, skip grenades, even a trip mine. The only thing that needs to happen next patch is buff the Firebolts seriously (which is prefered) or just buff the sunsinger melee back to the original way it was, but NOT BOTH, only one. I'm a sunsinger main but ik my limits, mabey the melee un-nerf would be too much idk. And nerf titan SC somehow to not completeley make it unreliable but just enough to stop ppl from bitching, srry titans. And I'd like to see GG back to the way it was before the patch like trip mine and knife buff. And then THAT'S IT. Personally I think that the voidwalker is the most balanced class in the game, not too strong not too weak.

Still no Fabian strategy buff... so sad...

Absolutely nothing worth reading.
-
Turns out it was absolutely nothing. GG everyone, see you in a couple of months.
-
Axion "tweaks"? I hate to sound offensive, but if you (to everybody complaining) can't either slide under an axion and avoid all damage, or run from it for like 10 seconds like you would have to (for longer) from a skip nade, then you should really take a break from crucible.
-
No nerfs. None. Nada. Zilch. Zero. Not a sausage. It just feels weird that nothing got nerfed. Maybe there's a ninja nerf?
-
None of those things.
-
So basically you just want warlock grenades destroyed
-
Personally, I'd love it if SC consumes a melee charge if it lands, and without a melee charge deals 170 or so damage (that way you can still use it for mobility purposes and on weakened targets you'll land a kill without using a charge, but for full health targets you'll need a charge). Also for Tripmines to regain their ability to stick (but keep the damage nerf) and Throwing Knives to go back to 158 damage for headshots, but have the burn damage lowered to compensate. Arc Blade should be more mobile since it requires you to be so close. I'm against more armor as the Hunter is all about speed and agility. If I was designing subclasses, an active Blade would be the fastest way to move on foot. VF should have a slightly more aggressive weakening effect to help not have as many people use Fusions as the only choice. Stormcaller, IMHO, should have a slight range nerf, but have pulse grenades replaced with Flux. As for weapons, the high impact archetype of pulse rifles should be 4-5/6 headshots for a two burst, and mid should be a full six (or 7/9, idk exactly) Higher impact autos need some kind of buff, though I'm not sure exactly what as I never used them too much. I'd like the highest impact tier of Hand Cannons (First Curse arcetype) to be able two be 2sk to the head. Remove HH from snipers as it's a pretty unless perk there. Give shotguns their ads speed back Buff Vex to be more like how it was in TDB, strong and competitive but not overly so. Also, sbmm should be replaced entirely with cbmm.

THORN BUFF

TLW nerf, UR nerf, high rof pulse nerf, SC nerf, whatever else everyone cries the loudest about. Maybe one that was really needed like more sniper shake when being shot in the face? Probably not though.
-
1. Warlocks cant use melee or granades. 2. Titans lose Shoulder Charge and half armor. 3. Hunters... Hmm... They cant do anything. Serious: minor balance, some bug fixes, maybe a little something in road to RoI. Hoping for new Y2 exotics, but that fools errand
-
Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I really wanna see the low RoF pulses get some love.

Fusion nerf

Edited by Mista Blista: 7/26/2016 5:25:50 PMI want to see Rise of Iron patrol events, like they did for TDB and HoW and TTK

Fixing ship drop rates. Fixing a few features that allowed xbox users access to gameplay they shouldn't have had. Maybe a few exotics from yr1. That's about it. No nerfs or anything substantial.
-
They better fix the bugged faction, vanguard and crucible package drops.
