When Tlaloc's Exotic Perk is Active, it should gain elemental damage matching your Subclass.
This makes sense Story-wise, since the Overflow perk is using the Warlock's Light to power the gun.
And since the weapon is all about trading your super, it seems fair that you should be able to use it for elemental damage your super would have done.
Also, we need more Exotic Elemental Primaries other than Zhalo Supercell, and this seems like a good place to start.
p.s. You know how Bishop from X-Men can channel energy into his gun? Same idea.

How about all those type of exotic weapon have elemental damage (ace of spades,Fabian strategy)
-
Although I'm neutral about primary elemental damage (other than the fact that I would not use Zhalo if it weren't for arc damage), before I'd make this change, I'd make the other Class exotics equivalent to the Tlaloc. My Warlock used to be my third choice for Crucible, but because of the Tlaloc, I love melting guys with it when I have my super. My k/d sucks, but since converting to the Tlaloc, my numbers have been slowly increasing. But the Ace of Spades and Fabian Strategy are just kind of meh. I'll use the Ace of Spades if I need to do the weekly Crucible bounty if necessary, but the Fabian Strategy is just terrible. Neither of those two guns do anything special, compared to the Tlaloc. I wish the other two exotics had some special perk that suddenly made it OP, at least for awhile. Get the other class exotics fixed before we look to improve the Tlaloc. Give it solar burn, if they do. :)

You can't have an exotic weapon that's exclusive to one class without offering something similar to the others.
-
I think this is a great idea.
-
Hmm.... It certainly would make it much more enticing to use in PVE. Especially in those element burn strikes and nightfalls.
-
Edited by EARWAK3R: 7/26/2016 4:41:42 PMI like the idea. It wont effect pvp as elements dont effect play. And it would make it a hell of a pve weapon for nightfalls etc. It may make it too op though lol, but I still dig it
-
No. Just no.
-
You want an already powerful weapon to be more powerful? On top of that you want a warlock exclusive weapon to have something that only one other weapon has. Seems like you just want your warlock to have an edge over the other classes.
-
Sure why not but every exotic primary should have a burn
-
No, the problem with this is it's a warlock exclusive weapon. With the introduction of swords that can take more damage from a certain element, making too many elemental primaries would put primaries at an even bigger disadvantage during heavy rounds. I myself love killing all 4 guys that pick up heavy before they ever get to use it, wouldn't be very fun or fair if the guy running at you used an arc sword shield against a solar or void primary.
-
EVERY Exotic Primary should have a burn.
-
No that gun is already too good. If it did the others need elemental damage
-
Just what it needs. Not.
-
I'm still salty that these are class specific. I want to be able to use any weapon with any class.
-
Would be too op. They'd nerf overflow.
-
That would be pretty cool
-
Edited by Dinkus McGee: 7/26/2016 2:13:31 PMAs much as I'd personally enjoy this, and I only play as a warlock.. It's not gonna fly. The gun is clearly (imo) the best scout rifle already (with overflow activated). And the warlocks already have the only secondary weapon that can change elemental damage types with susanoo (unless I'm incorrect). Without overflow the gun is merely mediocre. But the combination of Tlaloc and susanoo is pretty useful in any situation.
-
I don't think Tlaloc needs to be any more powerful than it already is
-
Tlaloc is so delicious when your super is charged... Arc Damage would be nice on it for sure.
-
If you ask me buffing what is already clearly the best class exotic wouldn't be a smart move.
-
Fabian Strategy needs to be redone completely. It isn't really worth using over any other auto rifle.
-
That'll get it nerfed...
-
Apparently not a good idea to talk about buffing your exotic there bud. Wouldn't want one of those nasty hunters to find out and nerf it.
-
Gonna play on my Warlock for a while, give my Hunter a break. Haven't used the Lock in a while.
-
Edited by bobswerski: 7/26/2016 2:28:46 PMIt's restricted to Warlocks so that's not really fair (and I say that as a definite Warlock main). We already have Susanoo for the whole space magic thing. If you're going to do it, it should be the raid exotic, something available to everyone.
-
This would be awesome! Great idea. However, as a Titan main, I would demand something similar for the other classes. It would be unfair to hand just Warlocks something so desirable.
