When Tlaloc's Exotic Perk is Active, it should gain elemental damage matching your Subclass.
This makes sense Story-wise, since the Overflow perk is using the Warlock's Light to power the gun.
And since the weapon is all about trading your super, it seems fair that you should be able to use it for elemental damage your super would have done.
Also, we need more Exotic Elemental Primaries other than Zhalo Supercell, and this seems like a good place to start.
p.s. You know how Bishop from X-Men can channel energy into his gun? Same idea.

It should also shoot out unicorn horns and rainbow mist.
-
All exotic primaries should have elemental types
-
You are stupid
-
Every weapon. EVERY weapon. Should have a chance to spawn with elemental damage, and every weapon should have a chance to spawn with kinetic damage. They need a dinamic in PVE where either there is a special burn active for kinetic weapons, or else kinetic weapons do less damage to shielded enemies, and more damage to unshielded enemies. Most of the exotics should be exotic. Obiously void for Bad Juju and Inappropriate Touch of Malice, arc for hardlight and no time to explain, Monte Carlo and Suros should be kinetic... The multitool should be a multitool, three different set ups, void with it's stats mostly as is, Solar with high damage, low rate of fire, high recoil, arc low impact, highest scout rate of fire, no recoil. Maybe change a secondary aspect, autofire would be good with a high rate of fire, maybe send it for void, explosive rounds without damage penalty or firefly for solar......... Anyone who's played the Crota dlc all the way through knows there /is/ precedent for this. (Yeah yeah, it can't be balanced in pvp.... They should have just banned exotic weapons and armor in pvp so in the pve game they could be the epic arsenal they were suppose to be instead of now where most exotics are just a waste of space) Bungie's idiotic way of forcing people to use non elemental primaries was to just abolish them. All they had to do was stop making them drop exclusively from raids, and give people a reason to want non elemental weapons in curtain situations. Hell, they could have used the same system they're using for Chroma to just let people add their own element and be done with it.

I like how people say this will get it nerfed when it literally won't affect PvP in any way. We don't have shields that are weak to different element types, so the change will be irrelevant. The only way I see this come into play is if someone is blocking with a Void Sword and a Voidwalker with Tlaloc is shooting at them with their Super charged, the Sword will block slightly more damage. That's it. "Oh, but people will go into Burn Nightfalls with an elemental Primary and that will unbalance PvE" Should using Zhalo Supercell in an Arc Burn Nightfall be considered OP? No, because it's taking an Exotic slot. In a way, Tlaloc with this change would be worse than using Zhalo because you have to take up an Exotic slot and you basically have to hold onto your Super for the whole Strike for the change to even take effect. I am all for this idea. Have my upvote.

Doesnt matter because bungie wont do it
-
Because what an OP guns needs is an elemental primary. Riiiiiigggghhhht. Warlocks would be the only class to play in the raid then. You really need to understand what would happen to other guns is bungie die in this.
-
There are a lot of primaries that should do an elemental. I'd love it if Ace of Spades would have a rare random chance of firing a Golden Gun shot.
-
So should Hard Light... And Bad Juju should've been Void like in Beta.
-
So the warlock can only use elemental primary of there choosing? No just no.
-
That would be cool as hell but it would never happen.
-
No... Not it should not.
-
Fabian strat= void Talaloc= solar Ace of spades= arc
-
Then make other class exotics elemental or unlock all class locked weapons
-
Don't like the idea on a class exclusive primary. I would like to see this on a etheric light style upgrade node though for all primaries.
-
Edited by Zenith: 7/26/2016 7:27:05 PMI say make Boolean Void and Touch Solar
-
ALLL exotic primaries should have elemental damage.
-
If for some impossible reason that ends up happening... Class locked exotic weapons shouldn't be locked. I'd see no reason any of it would unbalance the game. I remember how sad I was tlaloc was a warlock only weapon, As well as suzano. I like my warlock but not enough to main it.
-
Or another new exotic that does that so all classes can use it.
-
No. Here's why It's good enough now Bungie doesn't want elementals The other 2 class exotics would need them for balance reasons
-
Yes and it should be like susano fusion rifle. :-)
-
No it's overpowered as it is what really needs to happen is a buff for Fabian strategy and Ace of Spades
-
Edited by Kwisatz Haderach: 7/26/2016 4:36:58 PMWhile in overflow the weapon is already best in game for pvp and pve why make the best gun better? if you do that you have to nerf its fire rate or damage per bullet but thats not really what you want is it.... they always say the truth hurts
-
Just no. And stop reposting
-
Yes, because lets make the most broken ass gun in the game more broken. If any changes are to be made to Tlaloc, it should have it's impact reduced, just like what happens with Fabian Strategy. But that's my two cents.
-
Tlaloc should be deleted from the game. Broken ass Scrublock crutch. Fuk that gun and anyone that uses it.
