The Flaming Knight of Heaven
Theresa's prelude for the not-upcoming quest.
Theresa's first day at the dojo had been an eventful one. She had met many people, and then fought a tough fight against Yuria.
As she polishes and sharpens Rose of Flames by the fireplace in her room, she hears a soft knocking at her door. She goes to open it, and standing there is a tall knight, about 6'7". He wears a helmet, obscuring his face, although Theresa seems to recognize him.
"What do you want, Knight Ephiateus?"
"You seem to not acknowledge the fact that you fled the Knights of Heaven, Knight Theresa."
"I know well enough of my own actions, but that does not answer what you are doing here."
"I thought it would be obvious. I'm here to bring you back."
"You are in no place to-"
Suddenly, a crashing noise can be heard. Two knights equally as tall as Ephiateus jump in through the windows, drawing their swords.
"We knew you wouldn't come willingly, Knight Theresa. Rose of Flames or not, you cannot take on three of us."
All the commotion attracts you.

Each time Cyan stabs, her arm goes straight through his body, making a massive hole. He soon dies.
-
*The sword dissipates in her hand and her shadows soon fade* What was all that for? *She picks up Excalibur and waves it around a little*
-
"Excuse me," A voice says at the door. "But that's my sword you're waving around."
-
Wait, what? *Cyan turns to the voice* You can't be... *Cyan holds the sword in a defensive position*
-
"Hmm? I can't be who?"
-
*Cyan hesitates a little* King Arthur...
-
"Yes, I am Arthur. However.... My kingdom has long since perished. I am no longer King." The sword seems to float away from Cyan's hands, landing in Arthur's. When the sword touches Arthur's hands, a massive aura of power seems to radiate from him.
-
*Cyan forms her icy blue dagger* That little trick you did convinced me a little, but how can I know you're really him?
-
Arthur smiles, and raises Excalibur. "Is it a duel you wish for, to test my claim as Arthur?"
-
I could have a dual with anybody, a dual won't really prove anything unless you're proving you're a famous Mexican wrestler.
-
Arthur chuckles slightly. "Well, you tell me. What do you wish for me to do?"
-
*Cyan sighs a little* I don't know... What happened to your kingdom?
-
Arthur's smile fades away completely. "We went to war, my older brother the commander of the other half of my army. We wiped each-other out completely. And why would I be telling you this?"
-
I'm asking because I'm curious as to why you no longer considering yourself king. And you answered. And I appreciate that. *Cyan lowers her knife, which dissipates in her hand*
-
"Well, then, now you know." He seems to lose himself in memories.
-
*Cyan walks up a little closer* Are you okay? I'm sorry for asking.
-
He startles. "Oh, I apologize. I seem to be doing that a lot, lately... anyways, I best be off. Thank you again, for returning my sword to me. I hated seeing that... vermin... running around, acting as though it was his."
-
You're welcome. Wait, how did he get it anyway?
-
"After I died, my sword was passed down to my son. And over and over again. So yes, this vermin is my descendant." He looks at Ephiateus with disgust. "I hate seeing what my bloodline has become."
-
*Cyan looks at him as well* Yeah, that must be awful. In my family, it's the other way around. My father was awful, he usurped the previous ruler of the Underworld and started one of the darkest ages.
-
"Hmm. That sounds... interesting."
-
you could say that... Either way, he's gonna be killed soon, he's holding my brother's soul pretty much hostage. And soon I'm gonna need help with it...
-
Arthur looks up. "I'll be happy to help in any way I can."
-
Thank you. I am trying to rally up people now, I'll contact you when I need you.

Arthur nods, and disappears, leaving golden dust lying on the floor where he stood.
Fin?
