Ahh yes because it totally makes sense to completely ignore A (the zone you spawn at when the enemy is taking C) and try to rush across the map to fight for C only to get sniped halfway there. Good plan Dog of War. Great insight

You know, if your whole fireteam rushes A right from the start (from the circle room and the waterfall cave), you can usually over takes the 3-4 people on C and gain the better spawn. You can take an 80% chance to win the match right at the start, or you can go take A and fight a losing battle the rest of the match. Your choice.

On shores of time you're almost better off to try and hold A and C (if you have a full fireteam and can communicate well) you'll throw off the spawns for the enemy and have two sniping lanes on B. Just my opinion though
-
If that's your strategy with a full fireteam then that's fine. But, I still recommend rushing C as no one wants A anyways, you can take that one whenever.
-
C is easier to defend but A has the heavy and better sniper lanes. I do think that the control points on that map are not really in the right places but I doubt bungie will change them
-
It's do or die when it comes to shores of time. Either go C and die, or suffer and die in vain as you spawn at A (and lose anyway). I'll take the chance at C thanks.
-
It does on shores of time. Thank bungie for it.
-
That wasn't his point.
-
Oh really? Pray tell, what was his point then? I understand not spawn flipping but if the enemy is taking zone C and you spawn at A, rushing past and ignoring that zone in favor of trying to get all the way across the map to C is just silly.
-
It is actually better to let the team still have A while you push C in order to get a more likely chance of the enemy spawning A. When playing shores of time, and you are being triple capped, it is in your best interest to push past C and into the back. This throws the spawns to A, which sense they should still hold A, is an easy flip.

No, it shows an understanding of how that map works. C is disproportionately important on that map, much the same as blind watch.
