Oh no, it's totally winnable, there are pulse rifles and scouts that will let you flank & kill the snipers. Or just use cover. But the team has to work as a team. What's great is when Alpha gets greedy, takes zone A, and flips the spawn for you, so you can take C. Then it's a whole new game.
