From what Nintendo has said about the NX, it doesn't seem like they've learned anything from the Wii U. Basically they've said we don't focus on the power of the system, we want to focus on the "experience". Which in my mind is code for "there's going to be another gimmick". If they keep making these gimmicks the core of their new system, they'll never gain any 3rd party developer support. And yeah, they'll have a couple great first party titles but the problem with the Wii U was these titles were few and far between. At times there were dry spells of 6+ months with no major releases. While some people will be fine buying a new system for one great Zelda game, it won't be enough to save it.
