Inside of the Dojo, there was a slight...conflict.
"Really Patches?!"
"WHAT?!"
The two known as Patches and Anri were fighting again. Patches, in his typical leather suit, had been busy all week. Constantly busy, building, not even helping the Dojo. Meanwhile, Anri was in her knight armor, though her helmet was off, revealing her pale blond face.
From what could be seen? They were pissed at eachother.
"You know how damn busy I am right now, and I don't need help."
"Just let me help you, plea-"
"Oh hell no. Last time you tried "helping" me, I nearly died.
Now get lost!"
Shaking her head, Anri left. Heading towards the training grounds. Patches stayed, grumbling as he was pulling things out of a large box of some sort.
Open. This'll be a prelude to the thing I talked about in a post earlier.
Vio, who had over heard the yelling, walks up to Patches. "Uhm... what was that about?"
-
He turns around, grumbling. "Oh, nothing. Just a worthless girl trying to "help", yet she'll just screw up.. She got her best friend killed, Y'know."
-
"Oh. That sounds... wonderful... I'm gonna. Go." Vio walks out of the dojo, for fear of being annihilated by Patches. She searches for the girl who just left it.
-
"Hmm. Whatever. See you." Patches goes back to whatever he was doing. Scrambling through random items. The girl, supposedly Anri, was walking towards the training grounds. She didn't seem to notice Vio.
-
"Um. Hello? What was all that about, between you and Angry Guy?"
-
She stops, turning. "Oh...nothing. Just... He's really busy, I tried...helping, he dissent want help, and he just...went off. He's not usually like that."
-
"Oh. What's he working on? It must be important, if he acts differently to other people about it."
-
"Well...Patches thinks he'll be able to create a business here. I honestly don't know how he'll succeed, but... He might."
-
"Hm. Well, if he treats customers like he just treated you, I doubt it."
-
"I don't really mind..."
-
"Sure?"
-
Anri sighs. "Ok, maybe I do. Maybe he does get a little personal with things. I'll just try to forget it. Maybe go train or something. You wanna come along?"
-
"Sure, gladly. Where to?"
-
"Alright. Just follow me." She leads Vio out to a clearing within the Dojo. Although it seems to be a training ground, the ground is stainless. No blood, no burns. Nothing. Anri moves say from you. She seems like she's ready.
-
Vio draws her black longsword, and lunges forward, striking out.
-
Quickly drawing her own blade, a grey straight sword, and a shield, Anri blocks the attack and backs away quickly.
-
Vio rolls to Anri's left, stopping jusy next to her, and slashing towards the right.
-
Anri swings suddenly, and hits your blade with her own. Somehow, the straight sword knocks it away. She backs away again. "Luck...something I have, I guess."
Anri's extremely lucky, and the sword she uses practically feeds off of said luck. However, that doesn't mean that she'll always hit harder than you or deflect stuff. I'll have a 4 turn cool down before she officially becomes "lucky" again. Just one of her hidden abilities that can grant her the upper hand in some situations.
-
Vio backs off as well, before jamming her sword into the ground, and vaulting over it. In midair, she raises he sword, and slashes downwards on Anri.
-
Anri sidesteps and attempts to jab and Vio's side.
-
Vio dodges the stab by ducking forward, and slashes towards Anri.
-
The blade hits Anri in the left arm, and she yells out a little. Anri jumps back, still looking at you.
-
"Whoops, sorry about that." She raises her sword in a defensive stance.
