Yup, we've got a new map of... a quarter of the known universe, charting 1.2 million galaxies. Each one of course containing ...well, billions of stars. Estimates for our own galaxy put it at 100-400 billion.
Mind boggling. Beautiful. Majestic. Beyond imagining.

How exactly does one make a map of a quarter of the universe when we haven't even left our own Solar System yet? Not saying this is fake, I'm just curious.
