Hello Guardians, hope you all are having an awesome week in Iron Banner ( I personally have been seeing a lot of matches starting out with half team lobbies, hopefully that will be fixed ).
Whenever you get a new weapons drop whether from a crucible drop or factions weapons package what is the first perk you hope to see? And to which weapon? Why does that perk hold your favor so much, is it because it is in your experience a match dominating perk, or is it versatile in that it pairs well with so many other perks. Which one does it for you guardian, which perk with what weapon is the first step towards a god roll weapon?
Feel free to share your thoughts and experience.
As always I will share my thoughts first.
The very first perk I am always hoping for in a weapons drop is Outlaw. Whether it's hand cannon or pulse rifle for some reason I'm always looking for that trigger symbol immediately. I've always had a fun time with the perk and enjoy the fast reload animation that happens when it procs . I feel it can be quite universal in pairing with many other perks to make it god roll ( like hidden hand, reactive reload, luck in chamber etc ).
Let us know what you're god perk is guardian and why?
As always thank you for your kindness and attention :)

Hidden hand, hand laid stock, crowd control
-
Outlaw is my favorite for pve.

Wolfpack rounds
-
All I've been needing lately is tlw and rangefinder hot swap FR. Tlw can be replaced by any HC ofc
-
Hidden hand, counter balance, perfect balance. (Auto- med RoF)
-
Pulse: feeding frenzy and hand laid stock Scout: red dot oes and firefly or third eye Auto: counter balance and Rifled barrel or stability. Hc: Outlaw and Rifled barrel Shotgun: rangefinder Sniper: Shotrgaze or ambush. Fusion: idc
-
Hidden hand. I need all the help I can get.
-
Rescue Mag for shotguns.
-
Kneepads

Crucible For my scout rifles: 3rd eye. I find it crucial to always have my motion tracker in view. For my Shotguns: I cant remember the name of it but i deal 25% more melee damage after causing damage with my weapon. Makes for a good 1-2 punch in tight confrontations.

Rangerfinder on like almost any weapon is a god perk
-
The ones that you prefer using.

Every weapon is different... but, so far, -stability and double stability plus target adquisition in high rate of fire guns (arminius, soulstealer, grasp of malok) -and range and mobility in slow rate of fire. Additional, popular perks are firefly, luck in the chamber, 3rd eye, hidden hand, unflinching. To avoid at all cost: vaccum (this one real sucks), guerrilla fighter, replenish on primary... everything else is up to your subclass and game style.

Me? When I pick up an armsday Scout or pulse rifle package, I know that I'm waiting for a roll with Full Auto and max stability is also what I need. That's pretty much it, same for package rolls. Auto rifles, I look for counterbalance with bonus stability. For Hand Cannons, LiTC is pretty much a must. I also look for bonus range here, so rifled barrel and/or rangefinder works too. I only really grind for god roll primaries because I have a roll on every secondary and heavy that I'm happy with. Good to see you back again, I myself have been missing for 2 weeks.

God Perk. Check Oryx's willbreaker stats. It has two God perks on it! This is what allowed him to be the Hive God, which you'd know if you read the grimoire.

Edited by Blix: 7/27/2016 12:02:22 AMPulse rifle : reload and stability (outlaw with braced frame) Auto Rifle : range, stability or added damage (range finder with counter balance/perfect balance or crowd control ) Hand Cannons : reload and range (outlaw or spray and play and range finder or rifled barrel) Scout Rifles : damage and stability (crowd control and perfect balance or braced frame) Just a general overview for what I look for when a primary drops. But to be honest I try not to follow the meta, before fusion rifles got their buff I had an Ashraven's Flight with Icarus that I thought was just stupid until I tried it out, now it is one of my favourite secondary weapons. You never know until you try it.

I got an eyasluna with outlaw, rifle barrel / braced frame, and reactive reload. Devastating in PVE

Give me Third Eye and Outlaw on a pulse and I won't be stopped. Except by a scout with Third Eye and a certain perk called Mida Multi-Tool
