-Good for turning a dull task into an educational one, Radiolab will tackle anything from history to science to politics with an insightful commentary and multiple viewpoints. 45 minute podcasts.
[b]Freakonomics [/b]
-"The hidden side of everything" is explored here, from the viewwpoint of the host who is an economist. Some episodes are boring, others have you on the edge of your seat. 35-45 minute podcasts.
[b]Hardcore History[/b]
-Straightforward podcasts about all sorts of history, from Ancient Babylon to WWI. Really long podcasts, anywhere from 2-4 hours each.
[b]The Rooster Teeth Podcast[/b]
-Good for when you are cleaning or doing anything else mundane, the dumb jokes don't require your full attention to enjoy, and leaving and coming back after 5 minutes isn't going to harm the experience either. 2 hour podcasts.

The Great Detectives of Old Time Radio: a collection of old radio detective shows with bits of contexts and commentary from the provider before and after. Provides great tales from the Golden Age of Radio and let's you learn about them as well or discuss them a little (as he does read and reply to listener comments and reviews before ending the episode).
