Seriously, I hate this quest. It is by far the most difficult thing I have ever attempted, and this is coming from a guy who's second "Mass Effect 3" play through was cranked up to Insanity. The best part? I don't even think The Chaperone is worth the trouble.

Key thing to remember is you only need last word to be *equipped* to get the points. Unless you're just a beast with Last Word I wouldn't keep it equipped the whole time. One way I racked up points is playing mayhem rumble. It's not as crazy as 6v6 (meaning you don't die as much) and you get your super and grenades a lot. But here's some tips: *Run your match like normal, with whatever primary you want. When you get super, hide, switch to Last Word, use your super for easy kills, then unequip last word. *You lose percentage by dying so only equip last word when you have heavy, a super, or are killstreaking. *Equip Last Word before a win, unequip it before you lose the match. When the timer runs low, look at the score. If your team is way ahead, equip it. If it's close or you're way behind, unequip it. If it's rumble you need to be top 3 to count as a win (I think) so unequip if you're near the bottom 3. *Focus on not dying. Focus on not dying. FOCUS ON NOT DYING. This is the most important one. Do not play like you usually do. Stay out of big firefights. Run like hell from supers. Move slow and pick your fights. An 8/2 KD is way better for this quest than breaking even with a 12/12. Run from fights. Avoid snipers. Do whatever you have to do to not die. Dont be a shotgun rusher or anything high risk. *Get heavy ammo. Machine guns will allow you to go streaky. Pull out the machine gun with Last Word equipped and move slow. DON'T go for heavy if it's being camped or if the other team is there at all. When you get heavy, hide until all the rockets are done flying. *Pick good perks and secondary weapons. If you can't kill consistently WITH the last word, then pick good grenades and good snipers/shotguns/fusion rifles that you're comfortable with. Of course there's the cheese, but where's the fun in that? As for The Chaperone, it's worth it to some, garbage to others. I really like it in PVP because I like aiming in and headshotting. The damn thing shoots a slug and has slightly better range. It's a perfect shotty for enemies that are *just out of normal shotgun range. And if you're good at aiming above the shoulders the damn thing is a beast. Sorta comparable to Universal Remote. If you don't like aiming in with a shotgun, this is not for you. And yes, this dumbass quest is way too much for just getting the Chaperone. I'm thinking they just wanted yr 2 cats to have to grind an exotic like yr one had with Thorn. (Just ask any poor soul that did that exotic bounty for Thorn). So... yeah.
