Nah, you "earn" your lighthouse visit no need to be made than it already is.

Though I do think that trials could be tweaked to be obtainable for more guardians (without paying someone to get them there), I would disagree with this solution. I am just an average to slightly below average pvp player myself. Part of that is the fact that I am a 42 you father of two boys who also play this fantastic game. And also battle the physical deficiencies that come with type one diabetes. And I by no means want anything handed to me. In my years I have learned to see things from multiple perspectives. So I like to think I can see some possible compromises in most situations. This is just an idea, not perfect but not bad for either side. What if: Trials was matchmake connection first with skill base second. But up to 6-0. After 6-0 your team was put into a pool of other 6-0, 7-0 and 8-0 teams with connection being favored. Lighthouse and loot would be obtainable with 9 wins on the card. But flawless, which would still be stupid difficult, would net you an extra lighthouse drop and maybe some shakers and emblems that are flawless specific. Yes, that would mean you could get there with a 9-2 card. Though, with this format I would like to see boons go away. So you would have to win 9 of 11 matches. I think this would still be a great challenge but yet obtainable. This would also allow the best of the best to still show their accomplishments. And keep the integrity of flawless. I do believe something like this would see a growth in participation in this game mode in stead of the steady decline. Could be more fun for most, not all of course. Can't make everyone happy. Anyway, just some food for thought.

I accept my skill is too crap, the light house will always be a distance away. But i never have once gone hunting for images online what it looks like. Want to keep that part a mystery. Might get their one day.... being realistic it will never happen. My skill outright sucks. Shaxx quest trials elimation part took straight losses to take participation points only as i couldn't win any to begin with, literally. My zone is more iron banner as it's just more fun for me, not so serious. Kd to me seriously means nothing to me. Iron banner has the chance to drop 335 items also. The teams aren't as competive and painful to deal with. Play the game mode, don't play the game mode, have fun either way. Right up my alley. Only means i never get the grimoire for the lighthouse. A little frustrating. But can't have it all.

All these streamers doing carries is getting a little boring now in my opinion. As a player of average stats it's getting annoying to get to match 7,8,9 time and time again only to be matched against a very good streamer carrying two plums that have no intention of trying to improve their own game to get there, just get carried. Get in 3v3 modes and practice the same as the rest of us! Find a team and practice! Pick the right guns and practice! You'll feel much better doing it yourself than having someone carry you! Probably should put sbmm on trials as it would defeat the need for carries! Shame it adds lag! I'm all for everyone getting to experience the lighthouse, they paid for the content, they should get to see it but not without having to play the game and practice to make it there! They might as well make it, once flawless you cannot run trials anymore, that way it would get easier and easier over the weekend and people will get there without carries! Maybe I'm just pissed after a shocking weekend in trials!:/

Never went flawless. Can't find people who are willing to help. They always back out when shxt gets rough.

Giving something for free, especially a flawless trials run, is something Bungie would strongly be against in the first place. Trials is meant for elites, meant for the ones who can swim to the lighthouse. As someone with over 25,000 Gjallarhorn kills, it should stay as it is now. ~[i]TheGreatNike[/i]

Disagree. This isn't something they want to start. If they make an easier route to the lighthouse, their rewards should be marked as such, and have weaker stats.

Ive been to lighthouse year 1. I stopped 8-0 in year 2. Id like to go one more time before rise of iron but i honestly doubt that wont happen.

I went flawless twice year 1. Year 2 it isn't going to happen for me. The lfg competitive groups won't take me. My trials KD is .85 (around 1.05 overall pvp). But that's too low for any decent players to want to add me. So I'm stuck playing with the casual bounty teams. I still have fun but it's unfortunate with the year 2 matchmaking changes in trials.. flawless won't ever happen for me. Oh well. I still enjoy destiny!
