That's not at all he was talking about... I think he means to say Hitler gave the Germans a revolution to which they followed. By that, Christianity is a revolution that had followers known as Christians

Exactly. Maybe I didn't provide the best example. His argument is that Hitler and Christianity are similar (if not the same) because they give people a common cause.

Hitler did give the Germans a cause (albeit a nasty racial cause) and Christianity did give others a cause to live likes Christians do. Yes he is right, but by your saltiness he probably should've picked a different comparison. I'm not trying to disagree with anyone, but I'm not fully gonna agree with anyone either. Just helping the world see the other side. It's fun to live in the Gray world.
