Is Satan a bad person/god/thingymajig?
Is satan really a bad "__"? He punishes people that have done bad things (sinned), therefore he's doing a good thing right? Afterall, it's whomever's fault for sinning and being put in hell etc... Why would he try to do bad things to everyone if he punished bad people put in hell. It doesn't make sense.

1 ReplyDepends on who you ask, the conventional interpretation of satan or the devil holds that he is the root of all evil but some are Kinder. I know of one where he is considered the arbiter of forbidden knowledge brought about when the church was very anti science, another earlier interpretation says hes mearly the warden of the dammed but a otherwise a faithful servent of god.
