The field of Mars
"Claudius, your farm on Syracuse IV, describe it to me again."
Tribune Quintus spoke with his counterpart who would command the Auxlilia and mercenarius. Three years younger than Quintus Tullius, the boy had inherited a large farm from his family, whenever the man was nervous, Quintus reminded him of it and the boy drew strength from it.
"The wheat, it spans the hills, like a sea of gold. There's a river, I used to play in it as a boy, I built a bridge over it when my father died. He always said he meant to do it but I was never around to help him. My older sister runs it in truth, she always was a stronger person. The workers, they're all different, some eldar, some human, even a tau. They work the fields, day in day out, earning every bit of what they're payed."
The younger tribune fell silent as the two kept walking, straight out of the door and onto the field of Mars. The legionnaires and Auxlilia were all arrayed in formation, they stood in armor, the legionnaires in Lorica Segmentata, and the Auxlilia in lighter flak armor.
The centurions and optio kept order and rendered the salute of the Romans. The tribunes walked to the platform and ascended looking down on the men arrayed there. The sight was impressive, and the tribune was filled with pride.
"My fellow Romans, Auxlilia, and those of you who accept the republic's coin, I am tribune Quintus Tullius, and this is tribune Claudius, we are the men who will fight alongside you, for the glory of the republic. The emperor of man's enemies are ours by honor, and now the vile corrupted eldar hold a vital manufactorium, and hold prisoners. We will go and take them both. They want pain, we shall show them what it feels like to die. We take no prisoners of our own, we cannot risk the corruption spreading to those eldar among the Auxlilia and local population. But the manufactorium held a great deal of loot, loot that if you can carry is yours. Roma Victor!"
The last shout echoed amongst the men and the tribunes went down to inspect their men, and the mercenarius.

Xavier stands with the other mercenarius. He waits for the tribunes to check his equipment and receive his pay.
-
They soon did, they began in the front row and stopped to speak with every mercenarius as they inspected the troops and hand out pay.
-
Xavier looked at the masses of the auxilia army.
-
The legionnaires out numbered the lighter armored Auxlilia, and the mercenarius for that matter, each man stood in his century and awaited the command to move out. Here and there a man coughed and armor rustled as a man adjusted his position.

The tribunes approach you, as does the paymaster. Tribune Tullius looked your equipment up and down, examine and calculating. "How many battles have you been in?"
-
"500? 600? Well, too many to count, since I can't remember the exact number yet."
-
"Hmm, you're incredibly lucky then, or cowardly. We will see for certain soon enough and I hope that it's the first and not the second."
-
"Oh, it's guaranteed to be the first." Xavier smirked a little bit.
-
The officer nodded and moved on, before long the army formed up and began to March out of the general quarters, past rows of civilians who came out to watch them leave.
-
Xavier followed the Mercanarius.
-
The mercenarius marched first, then the legionnaires, then the Auxlilia, the tribunes marched at the head of the legionnaires as they marched, Auxlilia scouts led the way down the path.
-
Xavier looked around as he walked. ("And why do they call themselves Romans again?")
-
cause they essentially are. Their capital planet is Roma Nova,
The march is short, two hours later and the army sets up camp near the manufactorium.
-
Good to know.
("Huh. We're here already?") Xavier looked at the entirety of the area.
-
The legionnaires had camped in a large chamber, fortified and guarded while the tribunes and centurions planned the assault of the manufactorium. Everywhere men were preparing for battle, praying, sharpening swords, and otherwise calming nerves.

Xavier just simply cleans his weapons and check his powers.

From the command tent the two tribunes went their own way and the army was allowed to rest.
-
Xavier observed the tribunes and where they were going.
-
One, Quintus headed towards his command tent, while Claudius went to his own. The rumors in the ranks were that Claudius was trying to win over the men.
"Why?"
"I'm getting a bit curious about the rumours. I'm going to have to check if this is true or not."
"Alright..."
Xavier used his shadow abilities to sneak into Quintus' tent, while Rebecca went to Claudius'.

Quintus was in his tent outing over maps, tactics, reports, and letters. He sipped water from a cup, he gave no indication of knowing that he was there. His tent was fairly orderly, but there was a sense of organized chaos to it. He had a shrine in the back corner of it next to his bed. Claudius on the other hand was reading letters, and counting coins. His tent was neat, nothing seemed out of place. Another man, not a legionary was there with him. "Claudius, you should be more careful. My spies believe that Quintus suspects you." The young tribune scoffed. "He suspects me of being a scared child, who he can mold like clay, not that I want to seize power."
-
Xavier and Rebecca continue to watch them.
-
Quintus remained in his tent, with a few subordinates who came and went carrying reports or missives to and from various units. Claudius left his tent and went out to the camp itself.

Same actions as last time, but Rebecca follows Claudius as a difference.
