Cont. from Mortar's funeral...
9:36 PM
In the darkness...
Smough exited his apartment. He carried nothing but a massive flat stone...
He made his way to the lake. The exact same spot where Mortar was, inside of the box. Smough planted the stone firmly into the ground. The stone itself had writing on it.
Aferwards, the giant of a man kneeled down at the stone, and prayed.
Minutes later, Ornstein could be seen, walking up to his brother and placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Beautiful night, huh?"
"...Yeah. It is."
Silence.

"...Thanks. It took a while, and it's not fancy, but...I guess it's alright."
-
"It doesn't have to be fancy."

"He would deserve it, though. Considering all that he did..."
-
"Maybe he would. Maybe he wouldn't."
-
Silence. "Did you respond to me in Caquale?"
-
"What..."
-
"Did. You. Respond. To. Me. In. Caquale."
-
"What is that? '
I know it's Nora, but still...
"Royal would know. I'm being held up by a girl in a relationship with my best friend..."
-
Ugh. Do I have to?
"Weird.."
-
I didn't realize that you wanted Orn dead so badly. Just type "Royal tells her the long story", lol.
"Yeah...its complicated."
-
I don't want Orn to die. I'll just type that
"Very weird."
-
This will now be a thing. Ciaran threatening to slit people's throats if she wants something XD
"Don't judge."
-
YES!
"I'm not."
-
"I demand a drink!" Grabs nearby person and holds a blade at their throat.
"Hmm. Oh well."
-
LOL I WANNA SEE THAT
"So."
-
"What?"
-
"This is nice."
-
Ornstein is silent. He sighs, looking back at Smough, who is still kneeling.
-
"I'm gonna go?"
-
"If you wanna stay and chat..."
-
"Yeeeeeah. Thanks for the offer."
-
"Alright. See you."

And so they remain there, at the grave. Waiting. Grieving. For the friend that they had lost. The friend that had helped them into this place, and had saved Ornstein from insanity... And so, they stay there. For the remainder of the night.
Fin.
