Cont. from Mortar's funeral...
9:36 PM
In the darkness...
Smough exited his apartment. He carried nothing but a massive flat stone...
He made his way to the lake. The exact same spot where Mortar was, inside of the box. Smough planted the stone firmly into the ground. The stone itself had writing on it.
Aferwards, the giant of a man kneeled down at the stone, and prayed.
Minutes later, Ornstein could be seen, walking up to his brother and placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Beautiful night, huh?"
"...Yeah. It is."
Silence.

Kinda miss the old Orn. So simplistic. I just want us to be friends again :,(
-
You're giving me memories, man.. ...Good ones. And hey, I don't mind being friends again. I disagree, and get considerably mad at you at times (far from considerably), but still.
-
R-really? You'd take me back? We could be friends again? Please! I don't like where we are now. I screwed up in Magna Bellum. With the whole Unknown Alliance thing. I realize now how stupid that was, and I apologize. Truly. I shouldn't have just made an alliance out of the Blue like that, I was just salty that what I'd done with the factions wasn't going to be seen to the end.

Definitely. Apology accepted, les do it.

YAY!!! >Low-key tearing up
-
*Cyan watches, perched on a branch so that they didn't see her at ground level. She had tears welling up in her eyes. She knows Mortar died in their fight, but now simply respects Mortar's decisions, and doesn't hold Smough responsible for his death. She accidentally let's out a small sneeze* Dammit
-
Ornstein quickly turns, looking around for whoever had sneezed. Smough, however, doesn't even move.
-
*Cyan jumps down from her tree* Hey guys
-
"Hey..." Smough doesn't look back.
-
*Cyan can tell that it is awkward* So how are you two?
-
"Well, uh...good. I guess." Orn chuckles. Awkwardly. "So, um...how are you?" Smough doesn't even bother to respond or look back.
-
I'm doing okay. What about the statue sitting next to you? *Cyan said that hoping to break the ice*
-
"I'm fine, Cyan. I'm fine..."
-
You sure? Those were the only words that came out of your mouth since "Tactical Mortar inbound!" That was actually kinda funny.
-
"Heh. I guess..."
-
What's this? *Cyan takes a close look at the stone*
-
To Mortar. Friend. Brother. Savior. Loyal member of the Dojo. May you find piece in the next life.
-
*Cyan turns to Smough* Did you make this?
-
"Yes. I did it in my spare time."
-
It's beautiful. *Cyan sits next to Smough and they are quiet for a while*
-
Under his helm, Smough slightly smiles. Orn nods.
-
*Cyan, kind of tired, leans against Smough's arm, and yawns slightly* Thank you, Smough.
-
"No problem." "Aww...look at you two."
-
Quiet Orn. *Cyan chuckles a bit*
-
"Sure, whatever..."
