He was a great man. Fun, kind, could have a conversation with anyone, the exact opposite of me... *Wit clears his throat again* So, either way, I hope that he will be able to be happier in the Underworld. Thank you. *Wit quickly leaves the podium*
-
"Who's next? You or Crossbow?"
-
Cyan: I don't know, really, I was hoping a couple others would talk, I don't know if I could deliver a good speech up there.
-
Nora sits back "You can do it."
-
You think so?
-
-.-
"I know so."
-
sry.
*Cyan walks up, clearing her throat* Um, hi. For those who don't know me, I'm Mortar's sister, Cyan. I've only known him a couple months, but it has been the best few months of my life... *Cyan clears her throat again* Best few months of my life, because he's been a great person, not only as a brother, but as a friend... *Cyan clears her throat, blinking away tears* As a friend to all of the dojo. He will be missed. Thank you. *Cyan walks back to her seat and sits down*
-
"Crossbow is next?"
-
Unfortunately no. He's not one for speeches.
-
"Should I go up?"
-
Would you like to?
-
"I probably should..."
-
Then please, come up.
-
Nora stands and walks over, clearing her throat
-
*Cyan nods and mouths "Go ahead"*
-
She's silent then begins speaking "For the time I knew Mortar... He was a good man. Kind and open." She chokes on her words "H-he was a man that many hope to become."
-
*You can see Cyan smile, you are doing good so far*
-
"I only wish I could have him for the noble warrior he was. Whether fortunate or not, i knew him for the man he became at the dojo. Thank you." She steps down
-
*Cyan greets you at your seat* That was beautiful Nora
-
"Thank you Cyan..."
-
You're welcome Nora.
-
Nora is crying silently now
-
*As a few other people give speeches, you can see Cyan becoming sadder and sadder. Finally, Crossbow walks up to the podium* Alright. I would like to thank you for all of your beautiful speeches. Unfortunately, we are going to have to say goodbye to him for the last time. He will stay here for a few more moments if you would like to say goodbye face to face, then we will drop him in the lake.
-
"I've said goodbye. As much as i could handle."
-
Cyan: of course. You don't have to if you don't want to. A couple others may want to is all.
