If I can't have Thorn back, I want a replica of it. Make it the same archetype as Thorn, or even a Fatebringer archetype. Just not the First Curse archetype please, that isn't a very popular choice at all since the glory days of Timur's Lash have passed. Or even make it the Down and Doubt or Stolen Pride archetype. Those seem to exist in a category all their own, which I find them weird for, but it would be a suitable archetype for a Thorn skin. Put it in a Hive Strike for Rise of Iron, if there are any intended. Or in a Strike updated through a Live Event not unlike the April Update's Malok Strike. Have it drop this and maybe a Class-Neutral Artifact pertaining to Dredgen Yor. Maybe something that definitively answers whether he was Hunter or Warlock. I miss Thorn, but for more reasons than just the potency it had in Year One. I enjoyed it because the gun just looked like it was a monster, an atrocity born into the world by a dejected Guardian in their fallout with what remained of humanity. It has a better story than most Exotics could dream of. [i]No Time To Explain...[/i] It doesn't have to be brought back to troll a bunch of kiddos and tryhards. It doesn't even have to become an Exotic of a different effect. Just bring back Thorn's base model for a new gun, similar to Imago Loop & Fatebringer or Treads Upon Stars & Vision of Confluence. Just do it for a little nostalgia. It'd be great to see that base model in my hands again.
