So are you saying that sniping takes little to kill people? Even if you kill someone in 2 body shots, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage by wasting special ammo and giving your opponent an opportunity to kill you with a primary. I don't know what your skill level is and I don't want to insult it, but I know that at higher skill levels people are rarely killed with two body shots in a row. If you are hit with a body shot, you should have more than enough time to get out of the way. If you don't, then there is more than likely a way you could have avoided that engagement.
I apologize if I came off as rude earlier, but I'm only defending a weapon which I believe is mostly balanced and needs little, if any, change.
As for your side, I'd like to see evidence that proves that sniping is an easy way to get kills, because I don't believe it is. And if you think I'm biased towards sniper rifles because I use them more, you'd be wrong since I have many more shotgun kills than any other special weapon.
I understand that everyone has their opinion, but I don't believe anyone has the right to put my work into becoming a better player to waste. If you believe that snipers are easy to use, go ahead and use them and see if you do better with them than shotguns. I honestly think that all the special weapons are balanced. If anything, shotguns are in a better spot. There's a reason why teams have 2 shotgunners instead of 2 snipers in the competitive Destiny community.
