Exactly though. Only two weapon types can counter a sniper, a higher RoF pulse, and high RoF scouts. Therein lies my problem. I like my lower RoF NTTE but I can't use it to counter snipers because it can't counter snipers and I have no idea why.

I'd have to disagree. I've countered many snipers, even with Haakon's Hatchet or Lord High Fixer. So any weapon can counter them, you just need to take different approaches with each one. Obviously if you try to get them accross the map with any weapon (even the Jade Rabbit) that wouldn't be a good choice. Just be smart about what you use and when you use it. Not every primary is catered to every scenario, so you should keep that in mind when you try to engage them. Oh, and avoid fighting them head on if possible. Sometimes you can challenge them this way, I do if I know I'll win the engagement. But if you aren't familiar with what can make them flinch quickly before they make their shot, I suggest finding another route. There's more than likely 2 or more routes to get to a sniper, so you should take advantage of that.

My problem with trying to avoid a head on fight is that if you miss one sniper lane in order to flank you almost inevitably go into another

Sorry, but I'd have to disagree again. I don't believe this has ever been a problem for me. I always make cautious approaches toward these sniper lanes and I always use cover to avoid line of sight. Make this second nature, and you shouldn't have this problem as much. Hope this helped you a little.

Good advice but there aren't always areas of cover within a sniper lane to avoid.

Hmm, I don't know what else to say then. I know it might be a little difficult to apply everything I said at once, but try putting it into practice one step at a time. Best of luck to anyone who sees these tips as well.

I do appreciate the tips, although having played a few of the worser snipers and still being able to snipe and quickscope people with ease. Perhaps I was just designed to snipe. Thanks for the tips, I'll try and apply as many as I can.
