For those who read or watched Harry Potter, let me pose a question to you. If wizards and muggles entered into a world war, who would win?
This came to my mind when thinking back on how Voldemort and his Death Eaters viewed muggles as week and inferior. Sure, magic has lots of advantages in everyday life, but would it be enough if all out work broke out between two worlds? Magic is incredibly powerful, but so is technology. Wizards don't have satellites, drones, snipers, hydrogen bombs, or (as far as I know) an equivalent to much modern technology.
For the sake of this argument, let us say muggles became fully aware of the existence of wizards and magic a few years before this situation took place.
So, I repeat myself, which societies would win a world war? Wizards with their magic or muggles with modern technology?

If it was an all out war, wizards would also likely be able to control and set loose certain monsters on the muggle world. It would be chaos. Several death eaters destroyed a large bridge in seconds, and voldemort sent a hurricane upon Britain at one point in the books. Wizards would utterly annihilate muggles if they all went all out.
