Is The Ecthar Part of The Exotic Sword Quest Broken?
I tried to help my friend complete his exotic sword quest today. We got the crucible kills done just fine. Then we went to the Dreadnaught, killed the warden nights quickly and... Nothing. We tried having him be the one to kill them (both using a super and not using a super) he tried it by himself--still nothing. The door will not open. We're we doing something wrong? I know when I did it I had another friend of mine help with the warden knights and Ecthar as well. Is this broken?

Got it to work finally. Just had my friend do all the damage on the Knights. Thanks for the help everyone

5 RepliesI soloed it a week or two ago with a sunbreaker but anytime they patch something.... I hope he gets it!

1 ReplyIt can be glitchy, my warlock was the hardest. Try using golden gun instead of arc blade - it's just quick super kills, doesn't matter what type. And there is some sort of time factor as well, like 3 seconds.

3 RepliesDid he kill them all using a single super? This was the only way I could get the door to open. I took them all down to a sliver of health and then unleashed my super to finish them off.

3 RepliesI soloed it earlier and had no problems. As stated you need to kill all 3 knights with a single use of a super.

1 ReplyI two manned it today 1.All the Knights to low health. 2.Both killed their knights at the same time (left & right) 3. Then both focused on the middle knight
