I'm officially Bi-Curious when it comes to Destiny now.
So I've been playing on Xbox One for my entire Destiny career. Its been a good time. I've had some laughs and rocked some domes. However just before the release of all the Rise of Iron information I got extremely bored. So what is a guardian to do?
Wait for the PS4 version to go on say apparently. So yeah, now I'm deep into leveling up my second Titan. I feel like my trio of Xbox Exo guardians (Hunter, Titan, & Warlock) are not really happy with my single human guardian residing on my PS4. I've got to admit though, I like the PS4 version better. I can't say its because of the exclusive armor and weapons (although the added variety is nice), but the PS4 is just such a better system for this game. The controller is so much snappier, I run into less error messages and crucible seems to run a bit better.
The problem is that I just miss my Xbox One progress. All of those shaders, weapons, and unique emblems! All of that progress! So I guess I'll just be bouncing back and forth. I feel like there should be something special for that? Some kind of emblem? Maybe a blue and green shader?
Anyway, I'm a lot happier with Destiny these days. On both systems. Rise of Iron looks sweet and Moments of Triumph Y2 are a great improvement over last year. I'm also overly excited for Halloween and Festival of the Lost this year.
I still would love to see improvements to accessibility. Lack of match making in some areas is hurting the game more than helping it. I'll write more about that later though.
Later!
