The light from the embers gets stronger, illuminating his face. A cheery expression fills that where what was once thought an angry one would have been.
Ah, yes! Old Gerhmen, my fellow old man! Come, come! He's reading in his room. We were just having tea when I had to make my rounds.
He motions for you to follow him as he walks towards the barracks.

Balthazar looks from one to the other. Sensing the tension, he quickly breaks the silence. I'll uh... Go make some tea... He squeezes through the doorframe into the kitchen and starts to boil a pot of water.

You can hear the conversation between them. "I...I didn't know. That you'd come, all the way from Yharnam to...find me." "I needed a purpose. Like you." "Yes...I suppose..." "Mr Balthazar, do you need help?" The Doll appears in the kitchen. It's notable that she's 6'8, though she still has to look up at you.

Balthazar looks out, from the kitchen, as he takes up atleast three quarters of it. No, no... I'm nearly done. He hands her a platter containing a large mug and two other smaller cups, accompanied by a jug of boiling water and an assortment of tea packets. Here, take this while I fit through the door.
-
"Oh. Ok." The Doll manages to hold all of them without faltering.
-
Balthazar squeezes once more through the door and sits on the ground, pushing up a chair and small table for the doll to sit and place the platter.
-
She thanks you and sits down. It's silent.

Balthazar looks back and forth. Would any of you like some tea?

"Yes please."
