Would you rather be oryx but inevitably die during the taken war, or a dreg with no set destiny?

Dreg. Get promoted, captain. Become baron. Lead crew, bomb stuff with skiff, have best ether supply and weapons, maybe get enough to join me and make new house. Get promoted as kell. Find servitor, make prime, etc.

If i can be a part of house of judgment with variks, and just stand in the reef sure. If not oryx, at least then I would have some fun before dying.
