"Relax. We're Astartes too. You wolves need to chill..."
Three marines suddenly appear, decloaking. One was sitting on top of a crate. Another was leaning against the wall, and another stood on the crate behind puplord here.
They wore armour with some unique features on them, the most prominent being the helmet. These were from a chapter the priest did not recognize just yet, but he felt as if he had seen these symbols before.
"You ok, Hombre? You seem a little... lost." said the one sitting on the crate.
They chuckled.
"Did you miss... gah, what is it again? Dinner time? Fun time? Dog time? Oh! Right. Wolf time. Did you miss it or something? You look like you've just seen a ghost or something, Amigo." said the one leaning on the wall.

The Wolf Priest looks at them for a moment and shakes his head as he thinks to himself. Outsiders. Their side comments mattered not to him. He uses his knee to push himself onto his feet and lowers his weapons, but keeps them gripped tightly. "Astartes?" He suddenly realizes that wherever he was, it was larger than just the Wolves. He examines the others, attempting to recognize their chapter. "What Chapter are you all a part of?"
-
"Imperial Panthers." said the one behind him. That was it, now he knew. The Imperial Panthers was a name he definitely recognized. A strange chapter that had came about during the second founding. Their origins were mysterious, as they were not descendants of the original 20 legions. They were known to operate using cloak and dagger methods, resulting in quick, unforseen and devastating attacks. Wherever they went, they were like ghosts on the battlefield. Most of the Imperium considered them to be a blessing, seeing as how they always appeared at the most opportune of times, in conflicts involving the Imperial Guard and where civilian lives were in danger. It was also known that they would go as far as abandoning tactical advantages to save civilian lives. A chapter worthy of respect. "Relax, pup. We're just pulling your leg. We came here to tag these crates for shipping to the GQ. Good thing we found you." said the man sitting on the crate.
-
He slightly sighs in relief, now understanding that they were trustworthy in some sense. Farin never really cared for anyone outside of his own Chapter, but he was fully aware of the Panther's morality when it came to the lives of the innocent and the civilians of the Imperium - something he respected them for and felt was relatable to. "Aye, I'm glad it were you folk and not a bloody Grey Knight. Say..." He looks around the room. "Where in the hell are we anyway?"
-
"some ship, middle of nowhere. Bloodwrath or something. But before we go any further, there's an important question to ask. Got any problems with aliens?"
-
"Aliens? What like, the damn Tau or something?"
-
"Well, some Tau. A bunch of Eldar, too. And I think that's about it. So yes, are you Fresco with that?"
-
"Some of me brothers would prefer to slaughter the Tau without question. Xenos and what not..." He realizes that he had better choose his next words wisely. "Me though... If I'm in this hell hole, a Tau is the least of me worries. The Bloodwrath ye said?"
-
"That's right, Amigo."
-
"Are there other Astartes?"
-
"There are. More from our chapter, and some from different chapters as well."
-
"Does anyone even know why? There's ought to be a damned explanation. Have you seen other Wolves?"
-
"No on both cases. You're the only wolf here. And nobody knows why we're here."
-
He sighed, hoping that there would be familiar faces. However, the fact that several Astartes were on board the hellish ship truly intrigued him. "There has to be someone or something that holds the illusive answer."
-
"Maybe. But in the mean time, we tend to the people that live here. It's our main objective."
-
"Live here? Why in the absolute hell would you live here?"
-
"Because they did exactly have a choice. Some have been here for months, amigo. What do you expect them to do, sit around and wait to die?"
-
"No, I'd expect them to get out. Like how I intend to."
-
They chuckle. "You're gonna have a hard time with that, hombre. Nobody gets out of here, as far as we know. So you better get cozy."
-
"Oh? And why exactly is that the case, hombre?"
-
racist
"Cause the last guys who tried getting outta here found out by the hard way that you don't get out of here. Long-Range comms are down, no way to fix it, and getting past it is... well, we're trying to figure it out. Teleporting away... now, amigo, you don't want that. Not at all. No hangar bays on board as far as we know. And the ship is already dangerous enough as it is... you don't want to go too deep. Especially not on your own."
-
"Well, some Tau. A bunch of Eldar, too. And I think that's about it. So yes, are you Fresco with that?"
