W all the nerfs, just bring back everything and more.... more choice=diversity. Make them exotic w less drop percentage and gtf three of coins out of this game . Even better make a quest line in where you have to go get these weapons(Ex. Maybe in the quest your sent to one of the raids or w.e lore it pertains to/location and have to collect the useless legendary that an old guardian dropped when they died.)and have to take it to gunsmith to reconfigure, then wait a week and tada!!!! Exotic you had a fun way getting. (Also yellow engrams still drop but the ones w special lore and quest drop a exotic core to pertaining gun in which you turn in to gunsmith for further instructions) At least then exotics are more fun to get and add quest line content.
