"Well then... onwards!"
She turns around, roaming the corridors with the lone tribune. Perhaps now was the best time to inquire about this strange woman.

-
The men encircled the camp, and crouched. They waited for the signal, the tribune blew a whistle and they launched a volley of grenades
-
The grenades flew past the shacks and around the circle. Most of them were caught in the ensuing blast, only a very few of them managed to avoid the blast just in time.
-
The legionaries were already on the move, in unison they marched forward and drew swords.
-
The cultists, given time to rise, drew their lasguns and blades, eager to clash with the enemies and spill blood, in the name of chaos.
-
The lasbolts hit shields, glancing off or being absorbed into the shield. The legionnaires advanced and soon closed the distance. They engaged in close quarters combat, slashing and stabbing. They made short work of the remaining cultists.
-
Their corpses littered the floor, in puddles of blood. Well hey, at least they got to spill blood, right? Ariel then begins frantically searching the cabins. "C'mon... c'mon... where is it?!"
-
The tribune checks the sacrificial circle, following his gut.
-
It was filled with blood and corpses. Many dark sacrifices had happened here. This place wasn't a place for the sane of mind. "Ooooh! Oh oh oh! There it is!" She runs into a cabin, out of sight. A distant "My precious!" can be heard.
-
He turned back to the last words quite concerned. Those were not the words of the sane.
-
When the Tribune went to investigate, he saw that Ariel had already changed. She wore armour that was reminiscent of Aquila power armour, but fashioned in a much sleeker manner, as if build specifically for her. The parts were all advanced, never before seen, most likely constructed on Mars. It was extremely rare, almost legendary. It was constructed in an extremely advanced fashion. Her armour was ornated in an almost entirely golden set, reminiscent of what the emperor wore. Needless to say, it looked very, very regal. It fit her like a glove, matching her form perfectly. "Yessss! My good ol' gear!" She was as happy as a videogame character who had been taken away from his gear for a long time. I'm sure you know the feeling. She bended over into the big crate, which was covered with various stickers and emblems that the Tribune didn't recognize. This was a strange woman indeed. She seemed to be digging for something, shaking her rump rythmically to some tune as she searched.
-
"Is it all there ma'am?"
-
Ariel pulls out her equipment. A legendary heavy bolter of unique craftsmanship was the first item she took. It was coloured and marked with the symbols of the Blood Angels. It was covered in seals of purity, it must have been an old weapon. Yet it didn't look a day old. Another piece of equally stunning gear was a strange plasma/grav gun combi, crafted in white and gold colours. Then was the last bit of gear she had. And this one was particular above all else. It was a strange combination of a straight spear and a saw, the latter resting atop the spear, like some sort of staff handle. It was golden and light green, adorned by symbols of the Salamanders. On it's handle was a small scripture, written by Vulkan himself. Ariel made the whirligig saw roar as it spun faster than any chainsword, flames bursting all over the blade.
-
"Amazing." He said admiring the craftsmanship and stepping close to it and her.
-
"It's a unique piece of gear my bro made for me, way, way back. It's one of my most precious pieces."
-
"Fantastic, it's simply fantastic. Could it be one of the few relics of Vulcan that the salamanders yet lack?"
-
"It isn't. This one was crafted by Ferrus Manus with the help of Vulkan. It was made just for me. Nice gift, don't you think?"
-
"Very." A legionary entered quickly and rendered a salute. "Sir, ma'am, we must leave quickly. There's a raid headed towards the general quarters."
-
"Well, that's no good. We better go and help."
-
"Indeed, lead the way."
-
"Erm... I don't know where that place is. Mind leading the way, tribune?"
-
He nodded assembled the the legionaries they marched towards general quarters, the tribune at the front.
-
Ariel followed the Tribune closely as they made their way towards the quarters. "So... any idea what we're up against?"
-
"Chaos."
-
"As long as it isn't bugs..."
-
"We've beaten them back quite some time ago." The legionnaires March at double time, and soon they arrive to the battle. Chaos space marines were attacking the main entrance of the general quarters. The forces there were holding but they weren't making headway.
