The Old Hunter's Arrival
Twas a chilly day, outside of the Dojo. Rain rushed down from clouds above, which darkened the place of learning. It was a fairly normal morning...until the Hunter arrived.
The figure approached the Dojo, allowing you to witness his garments and equipment in general. He was a fairly tall man, lean but still seemed somewhat athletic. A black, shiny top hat concealed his face, though his cheeks were pale and creased. It was obvious that this stranger was fairly old, maybe in his 80s. Wearing a dark brown tattered suit, along with a torn cape that was dirty and somewhat bloodied. At his side, a curved blade that might belong to a scythe gleamed brightly, and markings could be etched out on its side. On the man's back, a large bendable stick, made of metal and had wrappings of clothing around it, simply sat in a sheath, alongside a blunderbuss-like gun.
The man looked awfully outdated and intimidating, but seemed to not pose a threat. Not now, anyway. He looked up at the Dojo, his silver eyes scanning the area. And he spoke, with a quiet, kind voice...
"I request entry...into this Dojo."
The man waits for a response.
Open to...everyone, I assume. Go ahead, throw yourselves out there!
"That is right. You must fight a lieutenant."
-
"Very well. Your friend Balthazar told me one was coming."
-
Actually, the Rp with Balthazar never happened. The way we do it around here is, that it's different timelines
"I'm not entirely sure."
-
"I can only hope that one is coming. But I'll wait."
-
"I'll make a deal with you."
-
"Oh?" Gerhman looks up at you, interested in what you have to say.
-
"Either I, or someone else may test you and record the fight. The lieutenants will then review it and determine if you are worthy
-
Sorry for the wait. Phone died :(
"Hmm...very well. If the Lieutenants allow it, sure."
-
All good
"Very well." She walks out of the gates and bows
-
Gerhman bows as well. "I'll allow you to take the first move. Unless you think otherwise?"
-
"It is customary for the challenger to make the first move." I stand upright
-
"Very well." Gerhman draws his blade, but quickly draws the large stick on his back feel it's sheath. He slams the blade into the stick, forming a massive, gleaming scythe. "I must warn you that this is a siderite blade, able to practically slice through...well, anything. Not to intimidate, of course. Just a warning." The Hunter begins to move forward at a slow pace. "It was an honor." Suddenly, Gerhman lunges, swinging his scythe.
-
Nora easily jumps backwards and avoids the swing "An honor? Kill moves are not allowed." I draw the sword on my back and my arm begins to glow
-
"Didn't mean it in that way." The Hunter quickly backs away from you.
-
"Ah of course." I ready
-
Gerhman starts moving towards you at a faster pace, raising his scythe in the progress.
-
Nora rolls to the side and something pierces into your thigh, slowing you down Nora quickly readies once more
-
Gerhman staggers a little, then looks down at his thigh. "Hmm. Alright... Breaking the scythe blade from the stick, Gerhman sheathes the stick, now drawing his gun. With the blade in his right, and the blunderbuss in his left, the Hunter turns to look at you.
-
"Oh really? Go ahead." Nora lowers her sword "Karav!"

Edited by OldManGehrman: 7/4/2016 1:13:25 AM"Aren't you going to fight back?" The Hunter stares at you, somewhat confused. "Or...I assume that this is a trick of some sort. Very well." Gerhman moves towards you at a slower pace.
Its a trap! It's a trap, has to be a trap. I'm going in anyway!
-
Nora places both hands on her sword and pull it apart. A second Nora stands by her and takes the new sword
-
"Well well...this'll be interesting." Gerhman beckons you and the clone to attack.
-
The clone seems to sigh as she sheathes the sword and steps back "She's my emergency."
-
"Emergency? Hmm... Gerhman begins to move forwards again.
-
"I had a near death experience with Balthazar not to long ago."
