Po's eyes dilate with fear and excitement, and he continues his ascent. His hair and cloak whips around in the wind, but his mist keeps a solid form as it assists his climb.

You feel the storm rage around you, and the wind grows strong enough to almost through you clean off the side of the cliff. Lightning flashes are almost constant now. Suddenly, you see the eyes again, and a massive silhouette following them. You finally reach a small ledge and scramble up, wary of the monster on the mountain. Lightning flashes again, but too late you see the massive shadow fall from behind you. You feel something large slam into the back of your head, and as the world fades from view you here the monster roar again. ... You awaken in a small warm room, with stone walls draped in red and gold tapestries. A cheery fire is burning in a brazier next to you. You hear the voices of people talking outside the closed door of your room.
-
Po sits up, delicately cradling his head from the blow. He blinks groggily as he stands up, stretching his sore body. Where... Am I?
-
The people outside don't take notice, but if you listen carefully you can hear the storm still howling outside. You feel you are still on the mountain somewhere.
-
Po slips out of bed, his cloak muffling the sound of his light footsteps. He looks around the room, trying to find his rucksack full of supplies.
-
You find all your other belongings in a chest next to the bed. The door to your room slides open, and a amiable looking old man, dressed in robes walks in. "Ah, you are awake. We were beginning to worry."
-
Po looks up as he slings his bag onto his shoulders, eyes curious and energetic. Would you mind telling me where I am? I seem to have been knocked out, and now I have awoken here... It's all very unsettling to say the least.
-
"We saved you from the beast of the mountain. You are in our monastery." He replies easily. "You may stay as long as you wish."
-
So, you're a member, correct? Well, some shit happened in a quest. Cannon shit. Po's lost his eyesight permanently, so... Yeh. He's going to have to use his tendrils and other senses to see. Just act like he was like this before.
As Po walks towards the door, his eyes turn milky white, and a peace of his clothing wraps around his eyes. Tendrils of black mist grope and feel, guiding him through the door. I believe I am ready to go. What is this beast you speak of? I must get to the top, and I should know what hunts me.
-
I am not a member. How do you become one? (I had a feeling I was missing something)
The monk guides you out into a common room, where you see other monks milling around. "You should stay. If you leave, I can assure you, the beast will kill you."
-
Do you have a character? If so, just make a post introducing them, and ask for a lieutenant in the spoiler. If not, I could ask them to let you in, because damn, you're pretty good at description and storyline RP.
Po shakes his head. I must move on. I cannot force myself upon you for any longer, lest I choose to stay. There are people I must see, and that cannot wait.
-
The monk shakes his head sadly. "None who have faced the beast have lived to tell of it. You will die too, but if you wish, you are free to go." He pauses, glancing at you again, "yet you seem a capable warrior. If you slay the beast, we have a great treasure for you." He leads you to the main door of the monastery. "Good luck"

Po nods, and walks out into the storm. His tendrils feel around him, guiding his movements.

Edited by autoson2000: 7/6/2016 2:07:22 AMThe wind howling and screaming around, you continue up the mountain. There is a growl, and a crack, the beast of the mountain somewhere around you. You feel the ice underneath you crack and begin to give way, but there comes a breath of warm air from below.
-
Po's form becomes misty as his body transforms half into mist, causing him to hover slightly. His tendril secure themselves on a ledge and he waits for the beast.
-
The monster goes dead silent, and over the storm, you can't tell where it is. An instant before impact, the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, and your tendrils coalesce, saving you from instant death. Unfortunately, you are instead swatted into the chasm waiting below. You fall for awhile, and then the sound of rushing water greets your ears. Then, with a thunderous smash, everything fades from your senses. Your last thought is that the water is strangely warm. ... When you come to, you are lying on a cot in a simple wooden room. This has happened two too many times today, you think.
-
Po sits up groggily, rubbing his head as he sits up. His tendrils steady him as he stands and feel around the room, revealing his surroundings.
-
You hear the door open, as a... You guess a woman... Walks in. "Hello," she says, "you're awake!"
-
Po stretches, turning his head in the direction of her voice. Hello there. Who might you be, and where am I?
