The 4k on the Xbone S is optional. It isn't like the Scorpio. It can play movies a media in 4k but that doesn't mean you should use it for that.

I don't have an Xbox one yet, so if I do get enough money soon (and manage to keep parents from moving it into a savings account; understand the point, but frustrating when I raised the money for an Xbox) I'll probably get a 1TB Xbox one S.

11 RepliesI'll take the Scorpio. 4K video content is near non-existant and overpriced. At least game developers are actually interested in 4K. Just sold my 1080P 55 inch TV in order to get a 4K HDR. Just gonna wait until Black Friday 2017 for one of those. Then, I'll wait for a Halo 6 Scorpio to go with my Halo 5 and Halo 4 consoles. (I plan on having 2 Xbox Ones)
